Accessibility Features

The store prides itself on being wheelchair-accessible and provides essential amenities such as a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Parking is made easy with a dedicated wheelchair-accessible car park and a spacious free parking lot that offers 2 hours of free parking, although drivers should be cautious about time limits to avoid fines.

Payment Options

When it comes to making purchases, Tesco Extra embraces modern payment methods. Customers can use credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments for convenience. However, feedback suggests that the self-checkout scenarios might require more attention from staff to ensure a smooth experience.

Service Options and Amenities

While many patrons enjoy the variety of offerings available, customer service has received mixed reviews. Some have reported long waits at the self-service checkouts due to staff distractions, while others highlight friendly employees who are willing to assist when needed. The store provides an array of on-site services, including a café, a pharmacy, and even areas for recycling.

Food Selection and Quality

The food section features great produce alongside a diverse selection of items. While many customers find the quality satisfactory, concerns have been raised about the freshness of certain items. Shoppers appreciate the availability of organic options and promotional meal deals that offer great value.

Community and Inclusivity

One noteworthy aspect of this Tesco location is its commitment to creating a welcoming environment. The store has been recognized as a transgender safe space and is LGBTQ+ friendly. This inclusivity fosters a sense of community among shoppers, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

I visited a massive supermarket on the outskirts of Perth and let me tell you, it was absolutely brilliant. They had everything I needed and more, can't fault it at all!
Willie Turner (14/08/2025, 13:06):
Extremely useful and great value for those with a club card.
Theresa Myers (12/08/2025, 09:29):
The chaps who do the home delivery rounds 'round these parts are a right pushy and brash lot, aren't they? Common customers can be a bother, always in the way. And I'm quite tired of their prattle about their drunken antics from the previous eve. And then they go on about their long shifts and measly pay. Oh, dear me!
Leonard Garcia (12/08/2025, 00:32):
I wouldn't recommend this place for those looking to save on their grocery bills. It seems like the fruits and vegetables are exclusively reserved for a young lad who snatches them all away. The staff doesn't intervene at all. It almost looks like they allow it just to protect the boy from being taken. Doesn't he need to learn some manners? Isn't it high time for him to understand that this behavior is not acceptable? I definitely do not recommend this place!
Justin Howard (11/08/2025, 02:21):
Absolutely dreadful customer service, the disrespect is simply appalling. I witnessed a team member casually helping themselves to a sweet from the pick and mix while strolling over to the crisp aisle. Absolutely mortifying behavior, I shan't be patronizing this establishment again.
Johnny Hamilton (10/08/2025, 12:49):
So, I was popping down to the supermarket the other day, right? And there's this security bloke at the entrance, trying to look all tough and that. But get this, he's not even bothering to stop folks without masks from coming in! I reckon this place ain't exactly Covid-proof, you know what I mean? My advice would be to steer clear until they get their act together. Cheers!
Adam Stewart (08/08/2025, 09:42):
I popped by the Tesco on Crieff Road to inquire about the whereabouts of the Evri parcel point at customer services. There were three staff members chatting away behind the counter, completely disregarding my presence even though one of them briefly glanced in my direction. Just as I was about to voice my displeasure, another staff member came over and offered assistance. The lack of attention and dismissive attitude from the initial staff members was quite shocking and disappointing – it seems they could benefit from some additional training.
Doris Cruz (08/08/2025, 08:48):
Quite busy I tell ya!

I'm a bit annoyed with the prices going up all the time, and even with the club card, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference anymore.
Jason Butler (06/08/2025, 01:49):
Tesco's is a top spot, mate. Properly organized with clothing, groceries, and all sorts in stock. They've got loos on site and a massive car park where you get 2 hours of free parking. Quality place, can't fault it. Cheers.
Alice Gutierrez (05/08/2025, 13:19):
It's akin to Tesco, but with a little extra flair, you know? The staff and ambiance really set it apart. Cheers!
Katherine Jackson (04/08/2025, 12:26):
The supermarket has a pristine store and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
Linda Diaz (03/08/2025, 16:56):
I've been frequenting this Tesco a fair bit lately because of where my workplace is situated. The entrance road can be a tad perplexing on your initial visit, compounded by the fact that the road markings are practically non-existent. One would think with the considerable profits they rake in, they could take the initiative to refresh the road markings as part of their duty of care. Just a thought.
Donna Gray (02/08/2025, 09:21):
This Tesco is absolutely brilliant! It's massive, so they have an incredible variety of products available. They even have a little kitchen where they occasionally invite customers to try out samples for free (I've wandered around that area countless times hoping to be chosen – one day, it will happen).
Jonathan Ramos (01/08/2025, 09:04):
I was in the supermarket earlier and there was only one person manning the customer service desk with a line of 10 people! Despite the long wait of 15 minutes or more, she was handling the situation really well. However, it wasn't a good look when I noticed the staff member at the currency exchange desk playing on her phone right next to the waiting customers.
Christine Ramos (01/08/2025, 02:52):
Always seems to stock what I'm looking for. The sell-by dates are typically about a week out.
Jeremy James (31/07/2025, 20:27):
The café upstairs is quite pleasant, and when paired with the petrol station, it becomes a convenient pit stop during a journey. The shop and petrol station are open 24/7, but do keep in mind that the café has its own operating hours.
Doris Kim (29/07/2025, 23:41):
I 'ave always 'ad a jolly good time shoppin' at this Tesco, but lately I've been optin' for doin' me shoppin' online using click & collect. The van drivers 'ave been right proper helpful and friendly, but I've taken to reviewin' the time slot I choose, as the 12-2pm slot always seems right busy, with folks sittin' in their motors on the road, queuing up to get into the click and collect parkin' bay at the back of the car park. This week, I opted for the 10-12 slot and I was the only motor there, which was absolutely grand!
Karen Roberts (29/07/2025, 13:27):
This supermarket is top-notch, well-managed, and fully stocked. A great place to shop for all your needs!
Ann Richardson (26/07/2025, 08:15):
The staff at this supermarket are so friendly and approachable! It really makes the shopping experience much more enjoyable.
Terry Clark (23/07/2025, 06:51):
The size and location of this place are top-notch, mate! Just perfect for a good ol' supermarket, if you ask me. Cheers!
