Shopping Experience

During a quick visit to Asda Perth, shoppers can take advantage of several convenient features. The store accepts both debit cards and credit cards, as well as enabling NFC mobile payments for those seeking modern transaction options. Additionally, parking is hassle-free, with free of charge street parking available nearby, along with a free parking lot right outside the store.

Focus on Recycling

Asda is taking steps towards sustainability, and shoppers are encouraged to participate in recycling efforts. The store has designated areas for recycling metal cans and glass bottles, promoting a green lifestyle. However, customers have noted a need for improvement in packaging practices, as many fresh produce items are still wrapped in non-recyclable materials.

Pharmacy Services

One highlight of the Asda Perth Superstore is its pharmacy. Reviews indicate that while some customers have had negative experiences, others have praised the pharmacy staff for their helpfulness during critical times. It's recommended to plan ahead if visiting the pharmacy, especially during busy hours when waits may be longer.

Online and In-Store Services

Asda offers various service options including no-contact delivery and in-store pick-up for online orders. However, some customers have reported issues with delayed deliveries and order inaccuracies, particularly concerning items nearing their expiration dates. It is wise to check your orders carefully.

Quality of Produce

Customers often commend Asda Perth for its great produce, although there have been occasional complaints about stock levels and availability. Shoppers are advised to visit during off-peak hours for the best selection, as busy times may lead to empty shelves.

All the staff are very polite, outgoing, and chatty, making everyone feel comfortable while they carry out their tasks. I've noticed that every time I visit, it's nowhere near as busy as it used to be, so I can get around pretty quickly. I usually opt for the self-service checkout and I'm out the door in no time.

I must say, there are a lot of things I appreciate about ASDA, but let me tell you, my experience with their photo service was an absolute nightmare! When a store offers a service, they should be prepared to assist customers with any issues that may arise. They have this fancy machine for printing pictures from your phone or tablet (see attached pic), which initially seemed convenient. However, my entire visit was spent struggling to get the photos I needed. I had a frame and wanted to print four pictures for my mum, but despite asking five different staff members, none of them could help me. I even called the number on the machine and was told to send an email – like, seriously, what part of instant service do they not understand? By the time I finally managed to print the photos, I was stressed out and running very late. A tech-savvy friend of mine had a similar experience; it was truly a horrific ordeal, and I strongly advise against using their photo service!

If you're thinking of purchasing age-restricted items like headache tablets at the self-service checkouts, don't bother as there's practically zero chance of someone coming over to authorize it.
Janet Reed (23/04/2025, 15:49):
I must say, I am utterly gobsmacked by the service I received. The delivery slot was supposed to be between 6pm and 7pm, and lo and behold, the delivery didn't arrive until 9.30pm! Not a single phone call to inform me of the delay. After finally managing to speak to the night shift manager, she promised to give me a callback. Alas, I am still waiting. It's quite disheartening to see the service quality plummeting in such a manner.
Adam Mitchell (22/04/2025, 15:29):
If you own an electric vehicle, you might find it challenging to charge up at Supermarket. The charging bays are equipped with older, slower units that often have non-charging or internal combustion engine vehicles parked in them for extended periods of time. This not only wastes resources and electricity but also proves frustrating for EV drivers.
Victoria Roberts (21/04/2025, 23:14):
It can get quite busy at times, but I find that shopping after 9pm is the best option. The staff are really friendly as well!
James Kim (21/04/2025, 22:26):
Absolutely top-notch experience at Supermarket! They had all the ingredients I required, unlike a certain big competitor that was of very little assistance. Cheers to Supermarket for coming through in the clutch!
Louis Simmons (19/04/2025, 06:13):
Always manage to find all the items I need at this supermarket! Their delivery service is top-notch as well. The drivers and other employees are always so helpful.
However, I found my experience with Therese from customer service a bit lacking. She wasn't wearing a face mask and seemed a bit bothered by my questions.
Leonard Price (18/04/2025, 22:59):
Limited variety of products available
Continuous radio playing with repetitive adverts
Recent increase in prices
By far the least favorable among the leading supermarkets
I will be exploring other shopping options moving forward
Ronald Allen (16/04/2025, 18:33):
I always receive my orders from Asda, without any issues. The delivery drivers are always kind and help me with unloading my groceries. The elderly ones always take a moment to have a little chat. I would definitely suggest trying them out.
Jonathan Walker (16/04/2025, 11:38):
Fantastic shopping experience, shelves are barely full, spills in aisles and delightful wildlife in the car park!
