Shopping Experience

During a quick visit to Asda Perth, shoppers can take advantage of several convenient features. The store accepts both debit cards and credit cards, as well as enabling NFC mobile payments for those seeking modern transaction options. Additionally, parking is hassle-free, with free of charge street parking available nearby, along with a free parking lot right outside the store.

Focus on Recycling

Asda is taking steps towards sustainability, and shoppers are encouraged to participate in recycling efforts. The store has designated areas for recycling metal cans and glass bottles, promoting a green lifestyle. However, customers have noted a need for improvement in packaging practices, as many fresh produce items are still wrapped in non-recyclable materials.

Pharmacy Services

One highlight of the Asda Perth Superstore is its pharmacy. Reviews indicate that while some customers have had negative experiences, others have praised the pharmacy staff for their helpfulness during critical times. It's recommended to plan ahead if visiting the pharmacy, especially during busy hours when waits may be longer.

Online and In-Store Services

Asda offers various service options including no-contact delivery and in-store pick-up for online orders. However, some customers have reported issues with delayed deliveries and order inaccuracies, particularly concerning items nearing their expiration dates. It is wise to check your orders carefully.

Quality of Produce

Customers often commend Asda Perth for its great produce, although there have been occasional complaints about stock levels and availability. Shoppers are advised to visit during off-peak hours for the best selection, as busy times may lead to empty shelves.

The customer service lady was quite helpful, although I can't recall her name. I visited on the 5th of June 2021 around 3:00 PM. Many thanks.
Mary Collins (21/05/2025, 09:08):
After a considerable amount of time away, I recently revisited the supermarket and immediately noticed the revamped layout. I swiftly located all the items on my list, making for a seamless shopping experience. I left feeling satisfied and will unquestionably return in the future.
Mark Myers (19/05/2025, 05:05):
There were quite a few unstocked shelves in the chilled section this past Saturday, and it seems to be a recurring issue each week. I also spotted some items that were past their expiration date on the shelves. The Asda in Perth is certainly not up to par compared to others I've visited.
Gloria Price (16/05/2025, 19:18):
Most of the customers are adhering to social distancing measures, ample parking available, and friendly staff with a smile.
Chloe Mitchell (16/05/2025, 18:38):
I managed to find everything I needed at Supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made for a pleasant shopping experience. I left as a satisfied customer.
Shirley Thomas (16/05/2025, 16:47):
Dreadful market! Nearly always lacking in fruits and veggies during busy hours. Frequently missing items from shelves - for days on end. Baskets disgustingly grimy and tacky. Overall, the store is unsanitary! Pharmacy team is uncooperative, impolite, and shows xenophobic tendencies! Best of luck if your name sounds a bit foreign or your skin tone leans towards the brown range. Better to steer clear!
Jesse Collins (16/05/2025, 02:28):
I attempted to ring up to inquire about the availability of a particular item that I was hoping to find at the Perth store, in order to bring a big smile to a young boy on his birthday. I called a total of 14 times and I'm still at it, but would you believe it... no one's picking up! It's beyond frustrating.
Amanda Hamilton (15/05/2025, 05:27):
Appears more spacious than it actually is. The range of clothing is somewhat limited, but the staff are quite helpful.
Lucy Reynolds (14/05/2025, 04:04):
The rain seems to have caused some electrical issues nearly a week back! Why haven't these problems been sorted out yet? A couple of days of inconvenience might have been acceptable, but this has dragged on for far too long! No items for those with age restrictions, unable to use scan and go, and other services are also not functioning properly! I, along with many customers, have taken our business elsewhere for the time being! I'm unsure if I'll return as Morrison's prices are better for a lot of items.
Mark Taylor (12/05/2025, 05:47):
Asda in Perth is always spotless and welcoming. The layout is brilliant with lots of room for those on mobility scooters or in wheelchairs. The product selection is top-notch too!
Raymond Roberts (09/05/2025, 01:22):
Received my delivery this morning, the chap David was top-notch as always. But when I was sorting through my groceries, I found out that I was given sausages that were past their use-by date. Frustratingly, I've been struggling to reach the store and the call center has been completely unhelpful. Not good at all!
John Johnson (08/05/2025, 03:28):
Fantastic supermarket with a wide variety of products to choose from. The parking was convenient and it was easy to move around the store. I encountered a small issue at the self-checkout, but help was readily available. Everything was sorted out in the end.
Bryan Hamilton (02/05/2025, 11:32):
Oh goodness, let me tell you about my experience at this supermarket. The customer service is just terribly rude, darlin'. They move slower than molasses in January, the collection point always seems to be running late, and don't even get me started on the wait time for pick up, it's just atrociously long. I also have a sneaking suspicion that the staff there aren't too keen on us customers, especially that older, bald gentleman. I won't be doing any more shopping at that place, that's for sure. If I had the chance, I'd give them even fewer stars, love.
Olivia Reyes (02/05/2025, 10:48):
I wouldn't have chosen a star, but had to. I popped into the store today for a quick visit and ended up staying for ages. I tried to get a new phone, but had to choose 3 different ones because each time I picked one, it was out of stock. Finally, on the 4th attempt, they had the phone in stock. There was no sign indicating that the item was out of stock or anything. It doesn't take long to put up a sign, absolutely ridiculous!
James Ortiz (01/05/2025, 20:49):
This pharmacy in Perth is absolutely dreadful, mate. The wait time for a prescription is nearly an hour! I had to come back the next day to pick up my meds. When I finally got them this morning, the lady at the front was not very helpful when I asked a question. What a ridiculous situation! It's a complete joke, not a proper pharmacy, if you ask me.
Frank Reed (01/05/2025, 16:02):
This spot is great for picking up your home essentials and groceries. However, I've noticed that prices have been on the rise lately, making it harder to keep up with our usual shopping budget.
Brittany Jackson (28/04/2025, 21:22):
For the second week in a row, I've had my shopping delivered without bags despite requesting them, and it wasn't the no-contact delivery I asked for. Trying to get in touch with the store is a nightmare - no one is picking up the phone, just a recorded message saying they can't take calls due to high demand. It's probably because everyone is fed up with their home deliveries. Sort it out, Asda, and pick up the damn phone.
Riley Ramirez (27/04/2025, 18:45):
All the staff are very polite, outgoing, and chatty, making everyone feel comfortable while they carry out their tasks. I've noticed that every time I visit, it's nowhere near as busy as it used to be, so I can get around pretty quickly. I usually opt for the self-service checkout and I'm out the door in no time.
Kelly Carter (25/04/2025, 14:19):
I must say, there are a lot of things I appreciate about ASDA, but let me tell you, my experience with their photo service was an absolute nightmare! When a store offers a service, they should be prepared to assist customers with any issues that may arise. They have this fancy machine for printing pictures from your phone or tablet (see attached pic), which initially seemed convenient. However, my entire visit was spent struggling to get the photos I needed. I had a frame and wanted to print four pictures for my mum, but despite asking five different staff members, none of them could help me. I even called the number on the machine and was told to send an email – like, seriously, what part of instant service do they not understand? By the time I finally managed to print the photos, I was stressed out and running very late. A tech-savvy friend of mine had a similar experience; it was truly a horrific ordeal, and I strongly advise against using their photo service!
Linda Ross (23/04/2025, 21:32):
If you're thinking of purchasing age-restricted items like headache tablets at the self-service checkouts, don't bother as there's practically zero chance of someone coming over to authorize it.
