Customer Feedback: Highlights and Concerns

I must say, if I had the option, I would definitely leave a 0-star rating for my recent experience with the so-called "Superstore" at Asda's Linwood. My weekly grocery delivery never arrived, and when I reached out to customer service to inquire about its whereabouts, I was informed that the driver couldn't locate my address. I found it puzzling that the driver didn't follow the usual procedure of contacting me for directions. Despite assurances that the driver would call me to arrange a redelivery, no such call came through, prompting me to contact customer service once more. It was then revealed that my order had been cancelled and I would be receiving a refund.

I have been receiving weekly home deliveries at this address for approximately a decade, so it baffles me why there was suddenly an issue with locating it. My only guess is that perhaps it was a new driver, as it seems that there is a frequent turnover of drivers at this particular store. Regrettably, I now find myself having to turn to Tesco for my groceries, as I can no longer depend on Asda for reliable service.

The other day, I popped into the shop and only found 2 sodastream cannisters on the shelf. Today, they were nowhere to be seen. I drove 5 miles solely to grab one of those. I've switched to sparkling water to cut down on single-use plastic for the environment's sake. What chance do my children or I have if ASDA can't even ensure this item is available? With COP26 around the corner, it's a frustrating situation.

Also, the only way to reach someone at the store by phone is to pretend you're a "colleague." After some persistence, I managed to get hold of head office, and they connected me to Clydebank. Someone eventually picked up but abruptly hung up without a word. Absolutely disgraceful!!! I won't be returning.

I say, what a jolly inconvenience! I ventured to this establishment at the crack of dawn, hoping to refuel my motor, only to find the pumps shrouded in darkness and the card machines dormant. Quite the disappointment, Asda! Your blunder led me straight into the welcoming arms of Tesco, a far superior and tidier spot for my fuel needs. I must admit, they have won me over as my new preferred petrol station. Bravo for your untimely closure, Asda!

The click and collect service is absolutely dreadful! It's the second time I've waited for over half an hour, only to have to march into the store and hunt down staff to rectify the situation. I rely on this service for its convenience, but instead, it's becoming a time-consuming hassle.

I relocated to the neighborhood 6 months back and I must say, I've never experienced such poor delivery service before. I used to order from Asda for years, but this supermarket is simply dreadful. Every single delivery had some sort of problem, but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, my last order was the final straw - none of my frozen items were delivered, and the products sent were 12 days past their best before date! Food prices are high as it is, and dealing with this is unacceptable. I'm giving Tesco a try instead. Step up your game, guys.

I popped in there about an hour back. The service was quick and the staff were all smiles. Absolutely adore this spot, hands down the best supermarket I've ever been to.

Seeing a drop in profits? Finding it hard to stay ahead of the competition? Your issue isn't just the ongoing price battles, it's the stark reality that the nearby dumps are neater than your stores. Implementing a staff uniform policy could be a game-changer, rather than having employees strolling around in attire that suggests they've just tumbled out of bed. Absent shelves and unhelpful staff attitudes are simply non-existent at rival stores in the vicinity. Here's a novel thought - perhaps peruse the reviews on this platform and actually make some improvements?
Shirley Carter (09/06/2025, 01:56):
A splendid emporium, I must say! The selection of garments and groceries is simply top-notch. The car park always seems to have an abundant number of spaces available.
The spacious aisles make it easy for multiple individuals with shopping carts to navigate without any collisions. And the staff? Oh, they are quite accommodating indeed.
