Parking and Access

With a large parking area, including free of charge street parking, accessibility is optimized for families and those requiring additional support. Customers, however, have raised concerns about the layout, specifically regarding the safety of pedestrian paths from the parent and toddler parking areas.

The shop was alright, but I must say the public loos were absolutely atrocious - filthy and stinking to high heaven. Quite disappointing, really.
Daisy Adams (02/09/2025, 00:48):
It's currently 10:09 PM and I'm still eagerly awaiting my grocery delivery that was scheduled for 4-6 PM. After two phone calls, I'm still left clueless as to the whereabouts of my shopping!
James Young (31/08/2025, 21:39):
The shopping experience was top-notch at this supermarket, with a wonderfully spacious store. However, the service at the cafeteria left much to be desired. After waiting for a whole 15 minutes for a simple cup of tea and bun, I was disappointed by the lack of apology for the slow service and the overall lack of appreciation shown by the staff. To make matters worse, the iced bun I ordered was quite dry. I will not be returning to this cafe in the future.
Christian Henderson (31/08/2025, 13:28):
Lovely spot.
Don't forget to give the self checkout a whirl!
Amanda Rogers (31/08/2025, 01:20):
Great supermarket with a pharmacy, dry cleaning service, and travel agency all under one roof. And the best part? It's open 24 hours!
Patrick Hill (28/08/2025, 07:37):
Greetings, I was just pondering why your establishment lacks EV charging stations when every other Asda in Aberdeen does, particularly as you are a key service point on the A92 and there are no other options in Portlethen.
Adam Green (28/08/2025, 02:33):
I absolutely adore the pizza from the ASDA eatery, and I must say, the team there is just lovely. Hats off to them for serving up such a fantastic pizza! Thank you so much!
Allison King (27/08/2025, 20:43):
Just popped down to our local Asda. Big shoutout to all the staff for their help with us oldies. Cheers!
Christina Gonzalez (21/08/2025, 20:19):
Visited the Kiosk this morning around 10:45 am and encountered the most unfriendly and impolite lady at the checkout. I've interacted with her a few times before, and each visit to Asda leaves me pondering, "Have I somehow offended this woman?" Utterly lacking in customer service skills, she truly puts me off from returning to Asda altogether!
Helen Thompson (19/08/2025, 17:39):
The variety of grub, fun stuff, and home essentials at this Supermarket is absolutely smashing.
Aaron Alexander (15/08/2025, 16:49):
On New Year's Eve, I placed an express delivery order of approximately £80. A £6 bottle of wine they couldn't bother to find a substitute for - and we all know there are plenty to choose from - some grated Parmesan cheese, and some grated regular cheese... It's hard to believe they completely ran out of cheese. Since I also ordered minced meat and pasta sauce, anyone would realize that the cheese was quite essential. So on New Year's Eve, I am left with no money because it takes them 5 days to refund it. Happy New Year, Asda! 😠
Matthew Phillips (15/08/2025, 00:38):
Amid this rather concerning period, I opted to give the click and collect service a go. It was executed very efficiently and I will definitely be using it again. Hats off to the Asda Portlethen team for a job well done.
Victoria Sanchez (14/08/2025, 11:40):
After comparing all the nearby stores to Asda, I must say Asda is the priciest of the lot!
Evelyn Peterson (12/08/2025, 22:40):
It's a shame that Asda hasn't updated their website for the North East of Scotland regarding the storms and road closures, resulting in no deliveries going south to Montrose.
Amanda Gonzales (10/08/2025, 04:39):
This Asda superstore is situated in the Portlethen retail park, where you'll also find McDonald's, Argos, Matalan, and an Asda petrol station. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there's a diverse selection of products available for purchase.
Bruce Hughes (09/08/2025, 18:22):
Supermarket is a top-notch spot for all kinds of goods. The prices are quite budget-friendly as well, I must say.
Jessica Sullivan (09/08/2025, 08:51):
This Christmas, the special pre-ordered Turkey that I had reserved back in November suddenly became unavailable at the last minute. However, the Manager from the Portlethon store reached out to me the following day and organized a special delivery for the Turkey along with a lovely bouquet of Christmas Flowers.

This level of customer service is truly exceptional. I want to extend my warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019 to all ASDA employees and customers.
Evelyn Peterson (08/08/2025, 04:41):
The store itself is fine, but they still have that dreadful petrol station cashier. No pleasantries, no politeness, just shouting numbers at you with a scowl on her face. I'll do my best to avoid going there as it's just not the most pleasant experience being served by her.
James Allen (05/08/2025, 13:05):
I was harassed by security, mate, and I've got in touch with the bobbies. Will keep you updated.
Sharon Morris (04/08/2025, 13:36):
At this superb emporium, you'll discover a splendid assortment of essentials such as milk, bread, socks, ice cubes, plants, coffee, onion rings, a delightful toilet brush, frozen apple stroudel, and an array of candles to illuminate your abode. Who knows, you might even stumble upon a few additional treasures during your visit.
