Reasonably fine on the inside. My only qualm arose at the till where I was denied purchase of Anti Allergy medication due to a lack of ID.

I grasp the Challenge 25 policy, yet there ought to be a touch of common sense when it's obvious that I'm a decade older than the 16-year-old age threshold. Nonetheless, the manager handled the situation with empathy.

I'm a caregiver working in a care home, and let me tell you, this past week has felt like a marathon! After finishing my shift today, I braved the supermarket for my weekly grocery run. But oh my, when I got there, I spotted this massive queue snaking around the corner. Just when I thought it couldn't get any longer, it did! Feeling absolutely shattered, I didn't fancy waiting in line and decided to head back to my car. Suddenly, this security guard (I wish I caught his name, he was on duty Friday the 22nd around 5:30 PM) must have noticed my weary expression as I turned back. He spotted my work badge and called out to me, leading me to the front of the line and getting me in next. And let me tell you, he was just as kind and considerate with other shoppers too. After such a tough week, this unexpected act of kindness nearly brought tears to my eyes. I wanted to give him a big hug right there, but alas, rules are rules, right? Thank you so much for brightening my day. I'm sure you spread joy to many others too. xx

Fully stocked with long-lasting expiration dates, which was brilliant. Neat and orderly. My granddaughter adored the Christmas 🎄 decorations throughout the whole store. Everything was a breeze to locate, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The gentleman at the checkout was exceptionally amiable and delightful. The restroom facilities were spotless, which was fantastic.

Well, brekkie was a bit odd. They served all three meals on one platter - one veg brekkie and two poached egg brekkies. So, we ended up with the veg brekkie (subbed tattie scones for hash browns) and two extra eggs. The server suggested we just share off the same plate! We insisted on getting the right orders, and eventually got the two poached egg brekkies we had actually asked for. We decided to forget about the tattie scones, which were the highlight for one of us. Oh well... we popped into the store and bought some instead!

The absence of staff at the fish, bakery, and butcher counters was quite appalling. We had to enlist the help of another shopper to summon them, which took about 10 minutes each time. I abhor the surveillance cameras at the self-service checkout. It feels as though we're residing in a totalitarian state. Has theft truly escalated to such an extent that it necessitates monitoring our every move?
Sandra Rodriguez (19/06/2025, 04:09):
The shelves are poorly stocked, with some items having very short sell-by dates. I noticed that some popular basic items were missing as well. It seems to be a recurring issue in this store, which is quite disappointing and makes me consider shopping elsewhere.
Cheryl Edwards (17/06/2025, 16:08):
Top-notch service from a bloke named Phil, one of the managers, when I inquired about the prices of plants. He sorted out the issue right quick and proper, all while being friendly and approachable. Really impressed, I must say. Cheers!
Lisa Torres (09/06/2025, 13:34):
Decent brekkie, but if you fancy throwing in some black pudding (or any extras), they'll slap on an extra 99p which seems a bit steep if you ask me. I reckon 50p would be more reasonable, don't you think?
Andrew Rodriguez (07/06/2025, 18:03):
The quality of all Scottish beef and lamb products here is top-notch. You can also find high-quality fruits and vegetables here, and sometimes at a reasonable price when they're on sale. While they may not always have prices as low as Aldi, I have noticed that they occasionally match Aldi's prices. Overall, their prices are excellent considering the quality of the products.

If I could give a negative star, I certainly would have. The order got all mixed up, then there was this older lady arguing about what I had actually ordered. Thankfully, another woman working there confirmed my order was correct. By that time, my food had been sitting out for 15 minutes and my son's breakfast was undercooked. I hope he doesn't get sick! I asked for some sauce, but the woman said she would bring it over and we never received it. At that moment, I had reached my limit. This cafe used to be great, but not anymore.
Barbara Gutierrez (02/06/2025, 06:43):
The parking facilities and petrol station are top-notch at this place. However, the cafe seems to be a bit sneaky with their prices. I had a little incident where the lady at the counter tried to charge me an extra £1.45 for coffee, even though it was supposed to be included in the £4.50 price. Just make sure to double-check your receipt after ordering!
Andrew Hughes (01/06/2025, 09:33):
This Morrisons store is the worst I've visited. The prices on the items don't match the final price at the checkout. Make sure to double-check before you pay, or you might end up paying twice the amount you expected.
Russell Edwards (30/05/2025, 10:29):
Today, I had an interesting experience at the supermarket while trying to purchase an energy drink. Despite being born in 1991 and clearly over 16 years old, I had to wait for assistance from the cashier. While the cashier was busy chatting with other customers and not paying attention to the line forming, the person behind me kindly informed her that I was waiting. She finally came over to approve the purchase but then asked for my ID for buying an energy drink. I explained that I didn't have it with me, as I've never been asked for ID to buy an energy drink before. I understand the need for ID when buying alcohol, but for an energy drink when I clearly look old enough? Anyway, she laughed and apologized. It seemed like she enjoyed feeling important and having some authority during our brief interaction. I also work in hospitality, but I would never give someone a hard time just because I was having fun chatting with another customer. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Next time, I'll make sure to have my ID with me, and if it's not requested, I'll still have it ready just in case.
Arthur Peterson (30/05/2025, 08:19):
I approached a staff member at the supermarket to inquire about their USB cables, only to be informed they no longer carried them. Despite this discouraging news, I decided to check out their petrol station in the car park. I was informed by the same staff member that they stocked the same items as the supermarket. Undeterred, I made my way to the petrol station and to my surprise, I found a USB cable on the very first shelf I looked at. It seems the staff's information was not entirely accurate.
Terry Reyes (29/05/2025, 16:48):
The staff was so friendly during my visit... I only stopped by once, but I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. Thank you all. - Michael
