Just popped into Morrison's for a quick catch-up with mates over a coffee. Gotta say, their COVID-19 measures are top-notch compared to Marks and Spencer's. They've got this trace and protect form to fill out and they assign you a table number to sit at. I must say, I was quite impressed! 👏

Great store, but the craft beer selection is quite disappointing. It used to be fantastic in Bathgate, but now it's just basic and unexciting. I typically like to buy food and beer together, so I'm skipping this place for now. I'll still visit occasionally for the sake of convenience.

A fantastic store to pop into for your weekly grocery run or just to grab a couple of items. The layout of the store is top-notch with clear signage, and if you're ever in doubt, you can always rely on the friendly staff for assistance. Definitely a must-visit!

Always welcoming and accommodating. Provides convenient trolley sanitizers and gentle reminders regarding maintaining social distance. Additionally, features a charming café and facilities including accessible toilets and baby changing stations.

I reckon we could do with some more gluten-free options. It's still more cost-effective to get them straight from the bakery. Making your own cereal is also a cheaper alternative, mind you.

This supermarket has certainly taken a turn for the worse, with shelves consistently being bare. However, what truly tipped me over the edge was discovering a batch of small milk cartons that were a good two days past their sell-by date. It wasn't just one carton; there were roughly 15-20 of them! Absolutely dreadful experience, I must say. Tesco is the way to go for me from now on...

Popped into the store for a few bits and bobs, it was rather quiet. The new shopping arrangement was well structured with hand gel and sanitizers placed around the store and at the entrance!

My missus is a loyal customer at Morrisons, but she's been left feeling a tad miffed about your fish counter. She picks up her fish there often, but it seems that there's never any fish dressing available. Today, she was even told that if she wanted her fish dressed, she'd have to buy a packet and do it herself. Absolutely bonkers, if you ask me.

Just popped in for a couple of bits. I always pick up the chopped ham and pork from this place because it's absolutely scrumptious 😋 and definitely great value for the money...

I do quite fancy my local Morrison's shop, and pop in there a couple of times each week. The one little bother I have is that the Food Bank/Pet Food Bank trolleys haven't been placed back near the main entrance. They were relocated during Christmas, which makes sense, but could they kindly be returned to their original spot by the main entrance? Apart from that, it's been a jolly good shopping experience.
Much obliged to the Staff & Management.

Absolutely adore their chopped pork. I'm a regular at this place, always popping in for a browse. They often have some cracking deals on offer. Noticed that the fridge in the Bathgate store has had a good scrub and looks tip-top. Great job!
Helen Gray (20/05/2025, 08:50):
Just popped into Morrison's after dropping off the grandkids at school. My hubby and I fancied a bite to eat, so we headed over to the cafe. We were gobsmacked by the deal - two hearty Scottish breakfasts with all the trimmings, toast, and a pot of tea for just £5.24! Unbelievable value, and everything tasted delicious and the place was spotless. We'll definitely be returning for more. Thumbs up! 👍

The staff at this supermarket are absolutely smashing, always going the extra mile with their friendly service. Can't speak highly enough of the majority of the staff. Some of the managers can come off a bit posh and full of themselves. Occasionally, there can be shortages in the produce department which can be a bit of a bother. However, the warm and welcoming demeanor of the staff keeps me coming back as a customer time and time again. Cheers!
Judith Rodriguez (16/05/2025, 01:09):
Even though this supermarket has undergone a recent refurbishment (completed around 2020/2021), it still gives off rundown vibes. Nevertheless, it does offer a solid range of typical products like food, drinks, clothing, and toiletries.
Keith Roberts (11/05/2025, 01:51):
Fantastic crew, top-notch service, and always on hand for a lunch deal or household essentials. Headed to Morrisons to hunt down some mini foil tart cases. Thinking of whipping up a batch of hazelnut chocolate spread and fruit-filled no-bake mini chocolate tarts. Cheers!
Elizabeth Sanders (10/05/2025, 13:20):
I popped by the supermarket earlier today and decided to try out the petrol station. It was a tad perplexing navigating between paying at the pump or heading inside to pay in person. While the option seems more convenient, I couldn't help but wonder if there were enough pumps available. Luckily, there wasn't a queue, so I opted against using my credit card this time. On the bright side, I noticed that at least one of the jet washes was operational this time around. 🚗💨
Jose Jackson (08/05/2025, 11:41):
I popped into the Morrisons cafe in Bathgate the other day and decided to try their fish and chips. Let me tell you, mate, it was a proper disappointment. The chips were as hard as a rock, and the fish looked like it had taken a dip in the deep fryer, swimming in oil like it was on holiday or something. My plate looked like it had been drenched in oil, and I even spotted some dodgy black bits clinging to the bottom of the fish. Absolutely dreadful, not appetising in the slightest.
Virginia Williams (07/05/2025, 21:35):
This store is top-notch with some great deals, but I must say I'm quite perturbed by the puddles on the floor. Every visit seems to come with its fair share of spillages or leaks from the fridges, resulting in sizable puddles that can be quite the hazard. Often, the absence of wet floor signs adds to the risk. It's clear this store has faced a number of compensation claims already, and unless some action is taken, more are likely to follow in the future. Despite all this, after facing the same issue for over two years now, I can only give it 4 stars.
Ronald Simmons (06/05/2025, 20:33):
I recently had an interesting experience at the checkout in a supermarket. The worker there told me that my completely valid driving license was fake because it did not have a hologram of some sort. I am a solicitor by profession, with both my parents working in law enforcement, so I am well aware of what a legal license looks like. It was disappointing to be treated so rudely by the worker, especially since she was mistaken. I understand the need for checking identification, particularly when dealing with young customers, but losing a sale due to improper training is unacceptable.
Ava Campbell (04/05/2025, 18:10):
The shopping experience was somewhat marred by the encounter with a staff member at the self-service checkout. I sought assistance as the machine failed to provide a receipt despite my selection of 'yes'. Rather cheekily, the staff member remarked, "well, it does ask if you want one," insinuating perhaps that my faculties had diminished past the age of 50.
I explained that I had indeed pressed 'yes', and it was clear that the receipt had not been printed. I felt slighted and frustrated by the condescending attitude. Typically, the in-store staff are pleasant, but this particular individual seemed to view older customers as a bother. I have never crossed paths with her before and hope not to do so again. Should our paths cross and her behavior persists, I will make it known that I am documenting the interaction to bring it to the attention of management.
