Not the finest in Edinburgh, but it's handy having a mall nearby for a pre-movie wander. The grub isn't top-notch, which is why I enjoy sneaking in a Five Guys burger, conveniently located next to the cinema... Popcorn in the UK may not be the greatest, but it's a step up from what you'd find in Chile.
Mark Young (05/09/2025, 23:17):
The movie theater experience was quite delightful in the days of yore.
Anna Thomas (05/09/2025, 10:47):
No sweet popcorn, no Coca Cola, staff see to finishing sweeping the floor before serving their customers. Shocking experience before we even make it to a screen.
Henry Martinez (05/09/2025, 02:27):
I must say, my recent visit to the Odeon cinema in Fort Kinnaird to watch "Wonka" with my stepdaughter was an absolute delight. The staff there truly are exceptional—so warm and inviting. It truly enhanced the entire movie night experience.

The location at Fort Kinnaird is incredibly convenient, and the modern amenities add to the overall enjoyment. The diverse range of movies available is a huge bonus, catering to varied preferences. I admire a cinema that offers more than just films and strives to create a cozy and pleasant environment.

What really stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff, making it more than just a trip to the movies. It's those small gestures that make a significant impact. The venue itself is pretty impressive as well, contributing to the positive atmosphere of the cinema.

Watching "Wonka" there was fantastic, and the welcoming staff definitely added to the excitement. All in all, I'd say the Odeon cinema in Fort Kinnaird is a top choice for a wonderful movie experience, thanks to its outstanding staff and overall inviting ambiance.

Absolutely fantastic cinema, marvelous staff, and seats so comfy you'll never want to leave! What more could you ask for? 😁
Brandon Myers (01/09/2025, 05:34):
This Odeon cinema boasts multiple screens, making it a popular choice for moviegoers. However, the scheduling can be a bit iffy, especially when a highly anticipated film has just premiered.
Kimberly Nguyen (28/08/2025, 19:47):
Always a pleasure to visit this Odeon cinema!
Kevin Rivera (24/08/2025, 18:07):
Covid safe, helpful and friendly staff, and excellent amenities for my father, who struggles with mobility issues and requires a walking aid. The seating was comfortable and the prices were reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our day out at the movie theater.
Brian Ford (21/08/2025, 17:06):
Decent Odeon outing, I must say. It lacks the posh vibe of a Lux, mind you. There's a quaint coffee joint at the entrance. We make a point of utilizing the audio description feature often. The service can be hit or miss, to be fair. Yet, the staff have consistently offered free tickets when things go awry. I reckon it's effective about two-thirds of the time. A handy spot for the little ones during a shopping excursion. Using the app for ticket purchases is the wallet-friendly route to take. Cheers!
Logan Wright (21/08/2025, 05:05):
I am always pleased with this movie theater, it is quite tidy and the customer service is top-notch.
Roger Graham (20/08/2025, 07:23):
Lovely spot, the theater space was cozy and inviting, though a tad pricey. Regrettably, there's quite a bit of noise bleeding in from the neighboring screening room.
Aaron Reed (19/08/2025, 23:13):
Service was dreadfully slow. It felt like everything was at a standstill. Prices were hyped up beyond belief. The quality of the cinema was just mediocre.
Joan Coleman (18/08/2025, 13:19):
The staff at Vue are lovely, can't fault them there. But let me tell you, mate, when Vue's dishing out seats for a fiver, coughing up 12 quid with no extras feels a bit behind the times, if you ask me. Sure, the seats are cushy and the place is spotless, but every time I've popped in, screens 3 and 4 have been smaller than what you'd find smack bang in the city center, and for less than half the price! With how often we hit the movies, it starts to add up, you know? So, what am I getting for double the price? Seriously, I'm proper curious.
Louis Walker (16/08/2025, 03:18):
A group of youngsters without supervision were causing a ruckus in the movie theater. The film had to be paused multiple times as the employees tried to get them to behave, until finally they were asked to leave.

Having said that, the cinema is actually quite fantastic and the staff are very helpful.
Laura Long (15/08/2025, 02:11):
Just went to catch Paddington at the cinema in Peru and had a jolly good time! One of the kind staff members snapped a photo of me, my partner, and my parents with the Paddington standee. Such a splendid gesture, we were chuffed to bits! 😀
Stephen Butler (13/08/2025, 13:32):
The food and service were spot on. The cinema is brand spanking new and sparkling clean.

The downsides - the screen seemed a tad on the small side, so I reckon you might want to splash out for the premium screen for the full cinema shebang. The legroom in the seats was pretty tight.
Edward Martinez (13/08/2025, 09:07):
Lovely movie theater, but the seats aren't really suited for lengthy films. Not very cozy, I must say.
Russell Jenkins (13/08/2025, 09:01):
My hubby and I have been rocking our Limitless memberships for a few spins of the Earth now, and this Odeon joint happens to be our local hangout. We hit it up about once a week, but every now and then we trek over to the one that's a tad closer 'cause they've got them fancy recliner seats.
Now, let me tell ya 'bout the staff at Fort Kinnaird Odeon - absolute gems, they are! Always with a smile, welcoming us in like old pals, and there in a jiffy if we ever need anything. I can't sing their praises enough: the cinema itself is top-notch, but having such lovely folks on deck makes it a real treat to keep coming back. A massive thank you for the stellar service, folks!
Lawrence Ward (12/08/2025, 07:57):
Chris Mclaren is absolutely brilliant. He truly went the extra mile to enhance our movie theater experience! We decided to watch Inside Out and he even managed to get a collector cup for my niece. This guy definitely deserves recognition, as customer satisfaction is his top priority and it really shines through. He contacted every Odeon cinema nearby just to ensure we could get the exclusive souvenir, and let me tell you, I was completely blown away when he reached out via email. From now on, Odeon will be our preferred choice without a doubt.
Melissa Russell (11/08/2025, 17:48):
Neat and tidy establishment. The seating is passably comfy, but there's not a lot of legroom, especially for someone like myself who isn't very tall. It can be quite bothersome that you have to use the self-service touchscreen to order any snacks or beverages, then wait around for your order while multiple staff members seem to just be standing idly by. Not everyone prefers ordering through a machine, particularly if they don't visit the cinema frequently.
