I've never seen a more dire looking breakfast in all my life, I tell ya. And the latte I had? Dreadful, absolutely dreadful. The young lass who served me was quite polite and cheery, I'll give her that. But I wouldn't dream of coming back to this place, no siree.

Had a splendid shopping experience at the supermarket. The checkout got a bit busy, but the gentleman at the till was an absolute gem. He was so pleasant that I ended up buying more than I had planned because I was impressed by the variety of choices available.
Helen Martin (31/08/2025, 17:38):
What a fantastic store with some brilliant discounts every now and again! It may not be the largest store, but it's my go-to spot for all my daily shopping requirements. The staff are super helpful, and the parking facilities are top-notch, with plenty of space available.
Julie Bailey (31/08/2025, 08:00):
The staff are quite helpful, but why are there so many tills and only one in operation... with self-checkouts available. Older or disabled folks require that extra assistance and support when doing their shopping. Just one checkout is simply not sufficient.
Jean Howard (30/08/2025, 18:43):
Popped into the café. First impressions were positive, greeted by a friendly lady at the counter and noticed the tables were spotless.

However, my breakfast order left much to be desired. It was overcooked and some items seemed like they had been sitting out for too long.

The coffee is expensive, with "complimentary" refills, but the taste was subpar, so I doubt many will take advantage of that offer.

I won't be returning to this café in the future.

Wow, this is quite shocking!! Can you believe those veggies are still being sold in such a state? Absolutely disgusting.
Denise Ramirez (24/08/2025, 01:55):
Visited the supermarket around 7.15pm today and was assisted by a gentleman named Bruce who lacked friendliness and warmth. As he scanned my items, he continuously glanced at my face without providing the total amount or any further information. When I mentioned having a Match and More card, he raised his voice and rudely instructed me to use it, which I found quite offensive. Overall, his complete lack of customer service skills left me with a negative impression. I will not be returning to this store in the future.
Patrick Gray (23/08/2025, 04:42):
The service at this supermarket is always top-notch, with a fantastic team of staff. The store is spacious enough to easily locate all your items without spending hours wandering around.
Justin Anderson (22/08/2025, 01:43):
Only 2 tills open. 4 trolleys at each. It was 9:30 am. They couldn't locate any additional staff. The tannoy couldn't be used as it was a quiet hour. Not just one, but two of the staff members were very rude. I shan't be returning.
Vincent Baker (21/08/2025, 08:26):
There were really long lines at the checkout and so much clutter in the aisles, it was quite chaotic!
Sarah Rodriguez (20/08/2025, 19:06):
I must say, this Supermarket lacks a wide selection of goods and tends to be quite crowded with lengthy lines. While some staff members are willing to assist, others seem hesitant to help out, especially at the self-service checkout. I experienced one employee who was rather impolite to my partner after she had been discharged from the hospital following a severe illness - he actually told her to "cheer up".

Moreover, Morrison's loyalty card scheme offers minimal rewards considering the amount you spend in comparison to competitors like Tesco or Coop.

Given these factors, I've decided to no longer make this store my primary shopping destination and only stop by occasionally.
Nathan Hernandez (20/08/2025, 11:56):
Decent-sized supermarket with a good variety of essentials. Prices are on par with Morrisons. Disappointingly, there's no petrol station on-site, but not to worry, plenty of options nearby.
Debra Ramos (20/08/2025, 08:38):
While shopping in-store is satisfactory, I've encountered challenges with my online orders specifically when requesting substitutes for unavailable items, such as milk. Despite reaching out to the store directly to inquire about alternatives and receiving confirmation, the pickers have disregarded my instructions on multiple occasions.

I have provided this feedback to the store twice without seeing improvements, so I may consider exploring other online shopping options. Overall, my experience is positive when physically visiting the store, but online shopping has not been as reliable.
Zachary Kim (19/08/2025, 04:52):
I am leaving this review for the gluten-free options at the supermarket. It's quite frustrating that there is always a shortage of Morrisons' own gluten-free oats. They seem to sell out within just 2-3 days every week. Additionally, the cafe seems to stop serving gluten-free food early in the day, not intentionally, but it often means that when I visit later on looking for gluten-free options, they have already been taken off the menu, sometimes even an hour before closing time.
Hannah Miller (17/08/2025, 08:53):
I must say, a member of the staff truly went the extra mile to assist me when I was in dire need. A delightful lady indeed, and Morrisons is fortunate to have such a dedicated staff member. I am truly grateful for her help, and I have taken the liberty to send an email to the head office expressing my appreciation. Thank you kindly.
Zachary Reyes (15/08/2025, 11:14):
I had a great shopping experience today at the supermarket. I went after 4.00pm, so even though there were quite a few people in the store, it wasn't too crowded at that time. I've noticed that shopping earlier can be really hectic, and the checkout operator confirmed this. The checkout operator today was lovely and helpful, and I also managed to score a few good deals. I am a regular Morrisons shopper and always feel comfortable shopping at the Dalkeith branch.
Evelyn White (15/08/2025, 04:25):
I always reckon this is a lovely, tidy, and welcoming store, but the lady who served at the hot counter seemed a bit disgruntled. She didn't acknowledge the man before me at all. Then when it was my turn, she was on her headset and seemed bothered that she had to come over to assist. Not very courteous, I must say.
Logan Richardson (13/08/2025, 10:09):
Just dipped back into Morrisons cafe for the first time. Top-notch service and the prices were quite fair for what we received. The store has definitely improved with the layout changes, although there's a bit of a squeeze when queuing at the checkouts. The staff were as friendly as ever.
Samuel Brown (11/08/2025, 03:46):
I must say, the food selection was quite lacking, I couldn't find what I was looking for. Took the family to the café and boy, was the food dreadful, couldn't even eat it! Won't be returning to that café for sure. The staff were slow and not very welcoming.
Rachel Perez (09/08/2025, 23:41):
Supermarket was an absolute gem for stocking up on groceries and such. Came all the way from the States to check it out.
