I popped over to the customer services desk to sort out a return and was greeted by a lovely young lady named Katie. She had such a cheerful and pleasant demeanor that it put a smile on my face. Ready to continue shopping, I left feeling well taken care of.

Not too untidy, not too shabby, quite pleasant indeed.

Well, it's a jolly old superstore, isn't it? The drive-in click and collect station was on the blink, I say. One was completely knackered and the other couldn't make heads or tails of my QR code. I gave the button a good press for some assistance but no one turned up, so I had to pop into the store and loiter about. Seemed more like click and stand about, if you ask me! Nonetheless, the goods were rather top-notch once we finally got a hold of them...

Asda?? Youth club for teenage hoody groups, we did our shopping and some of the pricing was incorrect with the barcodes. When we asked a staff member for help, the Asda employee sighed and grunted, their attitude was appalling. To calm down, we decided to have a quick coffee, but it was a mistake. The cafe staff were rude and unhelpful, so when they placed the coffee on the counter, I was already furious and told them to keep it. Absolutely dreadful experience.

I always find this Market quite helpful with a great variety of goods. The staff are extremely helpful and I never encounter any issues with discounted prices at the checkout.

My lad were chokin' on 'is grub an' the staff were 'avin a laugh!

Asda Dyce, well let me tell you, the staff there are always so friendly and eager to assist. Every time I go, it feels like I'm visiting close friends or family. It's always a pleasant experience that I look forward to.
Larry Peterson (23/06/2025, 00:04):
I paid a visit to this Asda store this afternoon with my partner and grandson. As we walked up the chilled meat aisle, I approached a lady and inquired about the spare ribs. To my surprise, she gave me a vacant look and slowly walked away to consult with another lady, who also seemed clueless about the location of the spare ribs. She then informed me there were none available. However, when I moved to the next aisle, I found plenty of spare ribs on display.

Next, I made my way to the yogurt section and discovered that all the yogurts were past their expiration date by a day. I promptly reported this issue to a staff member, who assured me she would address it and then walked off. Later, when I tried to purchase a cheesecake from another chilled section, I found it was also out of date. Again, I reported this to a different staff member, who didn't appear interested at all.

After going through the checkout, I headed to customer service and requested to speak with the manager. When he arrived, I expressed my concerns about the lack of customer service from his staff and the ongoing issue with expired products in the chilled sections. The manager tried to explain that it was managed through an automatic system, which I found hard to believe as food items should not be left on the shelves past their expiration date without staff intervention.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this Asda store due to the poor customer service from staff members and the presence of expired products on the shelves. The manager, who seemed unimpressive with his casual attire of a roundneck t-shirt that appeared less than clean, did not inspire confidence. Despite there being six staff members around the customer service desk, their priority should have been to address the outdated items rather than ignoring the issue.
Mia Clark (22/06/2025, 08:08):
The store is never properly stocked, I really hate coming here as it just isn't managed well at all. It's okay if you're just popping in for some snacks, but not ideal for a full shopping trip.
Carl Myers (18/06/2025, 19:00):
This place resembles a crack den, with its unsavory appearance and foul odors.
Marilyn Graham (18/06/2025, 09:45):
The employees were quite rude and the selection was rather limited. It's best to steer clear of this place if you can.
Bryan Ward (16/06/2025, 21:22):
Dear Asda, it is imperative that you provide proper hygiene training to your staff. Today, I purchased a pizza and was quite dismayed to see the employees handling the food without gloves and failing to wash their hands. It is essential for food safety standards to be upheld at all times.
Bryan Myers (14/06/2025, 20:08):
I stopped by the supermarket earlier today, where I did some shopping and also visited the cafe for a bite to eat and a cup of coffee. I must say, everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful, including the security officer. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Cheers!
Sarah Williams (13/06/2025, 07:23):
The supermarket is not as expansive as one might hope, and it lacks a full range of grocery options.
Frank White (09/06/2025, 00:33):
Young people seem to view Asda as more of a hangout spot than a place to shop. It’s a retail center, not a youth club.

I witnessed teenagers stealing in front of my 4-year-old, so I felt it was important to set a good example and demonstrate to my child that this behavior is unacceptable. When I informed the self-checkout attendants, they seemed uninterested, essentially conveying that stealing was not their concern.

The floor staff was rude, and it appeared that the management believed it was acceptable to speak disrespectfully to customers.

I simply wanted to emphasize that stealing is not acceptable. There was no security guard present.

This situation is completely unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
Daniel White (07/06/2025, 00:43):
All the food was overcooked except for the eggs and the coffees were freezing. We ordered bacon butties and a full English breakfast. Will not be returning.
