I sent a message on the app earlier today and got an appointment quick after my first message. When I went to the pharmacy, Berni and her team were exceptional. I was seen, diagnosed, and had my medication dispensed all within 15 minutes. This isn't the first time my family or I have benefitted from the invaluable service provided by Cadham Pharmacy. The local community ought to realize that this type of service is quite special to Glenrothes, and we are fortunate to have Berni and her team.

I popped down to the local chemist last week with my 4 sprogs as they were all feeling under the weather with sore throats, coughs, temps, the lot. Bernadette was an absolute gem with the tots, giving them all the TLC they needed. We hadn't booked in advance and took a chance on getting seen, but we weren't waiting forever. Bernadette took about 45 minutes giving us the once-over and made sure to check all the boxes with the little ones - SAT levels, temps, throat and chest exams, Strep A, and heart rates. Turns out, she clocked that my lad was having a fair few asthma flares and swiftly got him sorted with steroids, rang the doc, and upped his inhalers. If she hadn't caught that, things could've taken a bad turn. Massive thanks to the team for taking the time and showing they cared enough to ensure my brood were alright. Top-notch service.

I must say, I am quite disappointed with the service at this Pharmacy. Every time I try to call, it seems like they never pick up the phone, which is quite frustrating. I have trouble even leaving my house and getting back to work without my medication, but it always takes forever for them to process my prescription. When I brought up this issue with the staff, they mentioned some ongoing phone problem that has apparently been going on for the whole year. When will they finally get that sorted out?
The staff seemed apologetic and initially tried to help, but then they started laughing amongst themselves before I even walked out the door. I ended up waiting in a queue all by myself for over 45 minutes. It's not like they are short-staffed, as I could hear them giggling and chatting away. While it's great that they seem to get along well, they need to remember that they are there to serve people with various medical needs.
I just hope that someone can answer the phone promptly, especially for those of us dealing with mental health issues who shouldn't have to endure such long waits in small, anxiety-inducing waiting rooms.
Overall, I would rate their service as poor and give them 0 stars.

I must say, the appointment system was lightning-fast and efficient, with a very professional, thorough, and friendly staff. I was examined and provided with the appropriate medication within just twenty minutes. Truly a fantastic service that comes highly recommended.

What a splendid community resource. Shortly after our arrival, my daughter was promptly attended to by the pharmacist and provided with the required care. This happened just hours before all medical services ceased for 3 days during the New Year period when NHS24 and the doctor's office were unable to assist us. Much gratitude to Cadham. And let's not forget the welcoming and knowledgeable staff. It's the NHS in action within the community. A truly marvelous resource.

I just can't speak highly enough of Cadham Pharmacy. Berni and the team have been absolutely fantastic in caring for my daughter and her asthma. When it was tough to get an appointment with my GP, Berni stepped in to provide asthma tests, check my daughter's chest, and even prescribe the necessary medication. The level of care and support has truly been outstanding. A big thank you to everyone at Cadham Pharmacy!

Bernie and her team at the pharmacy really go the extra mile to help those in need. I remember one time on Boxing Day when I was feeling really unwell, Bernie opened up her chemist just to check on me. It was incredibly kind of her, especially since she had to leave her own family to help ease my discomfort.
When it comes to taking care of my daughters, Bernie is top-notch. She managed to fit both of them in for a check-up to avoid making two separate trips. She was very reassuring, used the latest technology, and took the time to explain everything to us.
I also appreciate the convenience of the robots at the pharmacy, especially when I need assistance outside of regular opening hours.
Honestly, my daughters and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else because Bernie and her team provide exceptional service. I can't praise them enough.

I was recommended to visit the Cadham center as I required some guidance on a personal issue, and I must say the folks there went above and beyond to assist me. From the receptionist, to what I presume was a manager, and finally Bernadette, who I understand is the proprietor.
Bernadette took the initiative to contact my physician, explaining my circumstances, and managed to secure me an appointment for that same day. Such kindness and thoughtfulness, qualities that are increasingly scarce in our modern times.

The pharmacy be top-notch, innit? Always bustling with customers, must be fillin' thousands of prescriptions every week. The staff there bend over backwards to help ya out, mate. My auntie needed some meds on short notice and Alana sorted 'em out, got 'em in the robot for her straight away. Definitely worth recommendin'.

Upon arrival at the pharmacy on 13-12-24 at 12:00 for my consultation (not appointment), I was met with two staff members who initially walked away and completely ignored me. They later returned to inform me that they did not have the required equipment to carry out my request. I reiterated that it was only a consultation, but was then told they had tried calling me (no voicemail was left). Furthermore, I was informed that the necessary equipment would not be available until Tuesday and that Bernie (the owner) of the pharmacy, as far as I know, was not even present that day. Overall, I must say, the service was very poor.

What an amazing spot! Top-notch service. My partner has ongoing health concerns and used to struggle to make it to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Not a problem anymore, thanks to the 24/7 dispensing robots. He receives a notification on his phone and can collect them even after hours. With the CMS service, he can request repeat prescriptions whenever necessary without waiting for approval from his doctor. I can't speak highly enough of Bernie and her crew for their contributions to the community. If only all places had the same exceptional level of professionalism and service, 10/10.

I must say, I used to perceive Cadham Pharmacy as rather cutting-edge in the local scene. Regrettably, my sentiments have shifted. On numerous occasions, I have found myself waiting for over a week for my repeat prescriptions, despite reaching out to ensure their timely availability (working in healthcare myself, I do comprehend the hurdles). Alas, it seems that these sluggish practices have not been rectified. While I am generally patient, one has to wonder – is Cadham biting off more than it can chew? Are they striving for expansion without ensuring safe management? It appears that prioritizing the patient's needs is no longer at the core of their operations.

I have finally discovered a pharmacy that consistently has my prescriptions prepared quickly and accurately, with no missing items. Typically, they have it stored in a robot for same-day collection, but they are also willing to prepare it on the spot if I wait while I'm there, as long as they have all the necessary items. There was one instance where they were short on one item, but they assured me it would be available the next day, and true to their word, I received a text the following morning with a code to retrieve it from the robot.
I have utilized this pharmacy for our prescriptions 5 or 6 times now, and I have never encountered any issues or long waiting times, unlike my previous pharmacy. Unlike most chemists, you cannot purchase toiletries or other over-the-counter products here as they do not have a retail section, which personally doesn't bother me.
The pharmacy always has plenty of hardworking staff on hand who are more than willing to assist with any questions you may have. The team is consistently friendly, polite, and helpful.

Bernadette and her team were incredibly efficient, quickly checking my vaccination records and providing the necessary vaccinations before my trip abroad. They also offered advice on a long-standing health issue I had been grappling with, and thanks to Bernadotte's clear instructions, I am well on my way to resolving the problem.
This experience was a stark contrast to a chain pharmacy in Fife that had made the process unnecessarily complicated, leading me to ditch them and discover Cadham Pharmacy instead.
A shoutout to Laura, who managed the front-of-house and was exceptionally warm and hospitable.
I will definitely be returning!

From providing support during my pregnancy to ensuring we had everything necessary when my husband battled cancer, they have been unwaveringly supportive and attentive through some tough times in our family's life. They have also been instrumental in guiding me through my mental health journey, and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
