This chemist is absolutely amazing! The staff goes above and beyond, they're so friendly and helpful. I've had experiences with other chemists where they have made mistakes with prescriptions, but not here. I would highly recommend this place, 100%!

Wasn't a fan of this pharmacy.... Not because of the staff or service but seems to be frequented by the local junkies. Always felt quite uneasy picking up my prescriptions. Thank goodness I no longer have to rely on this one.

I must say, this pharmacy is quite negligent! I picked up some antibiotics suspension for my son and discovered that the 10-day supply they gave me only had a seven-day expiry. They didn't even provide a measuring aid. When I called them about it, they just brushed it off by saying it was fine, without offering an apology or asking me to bring back the current meds for review. They also failed to ensure that the prescription was dispensed and checked properly to prevent such errors. I had to go back midweek for a replacement bottle, which once again lacked a measuring aid until I requested one. How are people supposed to administer doses without proper tools? It's basic practice for pharmacies to provide a measuring aid. As someone who works in the pharmacy field, I am truly disappointed in my local pharmacy's lack of care and attention to detail on two separate occasions. If this had happened where I work, immediate action would have been taken!

I 'ad the most dreadful tonsillitis for days, I tell ya. I was takin' painkillers, rinsin' with salt water, suckin' on lozenges, you name it. Nuthin' was doin' the trick. I was walkin' by Leith pharmacy and thought I'd pop in to see if they 'ad any antiseptic spray I could get me 'ands on. I 'ad a chat with the pharmacist Anna, who was just lovely and so helpful. She prescribed me antibiotics and an oral rinse for the pain. Absolutely top-notch service, she went out of 'er way to 'elp me out! Cheers!

Absolutely outstanding and delightful experience! They were able to schedule me for a flu shot on the same day and immediately accommodated me when I called. I usually have a dislike for vaccines and informed the pharmacist beforehand. She applied some numbing cream and efficiently administered the vaccine in just a few seconds. I didn't even notice the needle at all! Fantastic service from start to finish!

I was having a tough time trying to get the flu shot for myself due to the ongoing flu shot chaos, even though I paid for it. After traveling and waiting for hours, only to be told it was canceled without any prior notice, I reached out and Lindsay and Gilmour pharmacy on Leith Walk suggested I contact Leith Pharmacy. And that was the end of my troubles! My whole family (my wife and kids included) were able to get the flu shot, the staff were lovely and very helpful. I can't thank them, especially Anna, enough. I wish I could give them more than five stars. It's safe to say they are a national treasure and a valuable asset, especially at a time when the NHS is facing challenges.

Outstanding service overall, however, a small issue arose when I noticed that delivery drivers tend to deposit packages into the outside post box instead of the designated front door letterbox. This has led to some concerns regarding security, particularly after a contactless credit card was taken from the same box recently. Moreover, there seems to be a lack of understanding when contacting the pharmacy about missing prescriptions, with clients feeling unfairly scrutinized.
In my case, my mother, who suffers from COPD and other age-related conditions, relies on timely medication deliveries. With the current setup, there is a risk of theft, especially for sensitive medications that could attract unwanted attention. I believe a simple solution would be to include a clear instruction on the doset boxes and prescription bags, stating "TO BE POSTED THROUGH THE HOUSE MAIN DOOR LETTERBOX." Implementing this protocol for all deliveries leaving the premises would enhance security measures and ensure safe receipt of medications.
