After visiting Lloyd's Pharmacy, now known as Avante Pharmacy, for a few years for my prescriptions, the experience was never ideal. The staff at Lloyd's always seemed overwhelmed and would often express their frustrations, creating a negative atmosphere. This prompted me to search for a different pharmacy, and while the new one wasn't perfect, it was definitely an improvement from Lloyd's!
This month, I attempted to fill my prescription at another location, but they were unable to assist me. Desperate to get my prescription before going on vacation, I decided to give Lloyd's another try. To my surprise and delight, I discovered that Avante had taken over. The pharmacy had a fresh and inviting look, and the staff were delightful and very helpful. There was a positive energy upon entering, with no complaints or negativity in sight. Meeting the new pharmacist and the team was truly refreshing.
By taking a chance and returning to Lloyd's, I have found a new pharmacy that provides excellent service for my prescriptions. I am thrilled that I made the decision to give them another shot! Thank you, Avante Pharmacy!

I recently had to get vaccinations in preparation for an upcoming trip to Thailand, and the whole experience was surprisingly smooth and positive. I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of needles, but the gentleman who helped us out - Emmanuel - was just fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly and putting me at ease throughout the entire process.
What really impressed me was that, despite my usual aversion to injections, I hardly even felt the needle! It was over in a flash, with minimal discomfort. Overall, the service was top-notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of vaccinations, especially if you're a bit nervous about needles like myself.

Avante not only offers prescription services and other NHS treatments, but they are also trained to provide a range of private tests and procedures including Cryopen freezing for the removal of lesions and warts. I recently had a wart on my forehead treated there. The procedure only required one session, which lasted about 10 minutes including the explanation and consent process. It was a bit painful, caused some swelling and scabbing in the area, and looked quite red and irritated after 24 hours. However, everything settled down after 72 hours, and now, ten days later, there's no sign of it at all. It may be pricey, but the results are definitely worth it – quick and effective.

I must say, I am quite impressed! The new pharmacy has a lovely appearance, it's tidy, and everything is arranged in an orderly manner. What truly sets this place apart is the warm and inviting atmosphere, where I felt truly valued and supported. Emmanuel, the pharmacist, went out of his way to assist me with a recurring issue I had faced at other pharmacies regarding my daughter's medication. He made sure that I was able to obtain the medication that was previously out of stock, and now I have the correct medicine in hand, right on time.
