I visited the pharmacy on the 27th of April, 2024 at 10 in the morning. I approached the pharmacist, a young woman in her twenties, to ask for help in finding a specific product. I mentioned that my English skills were limited and requested her assistance. Despite my efforts to explain my needs, she not only refused to help but also laughed at me along with her colleague. When I questioned the humor in my situation, she denied it but continued to mock me. I believe I clearly described the product I was looking for.

It's disappointing as I have been a customer of this pharmacy for many years and this is the first time I feel compelled to file a complaint (and not the one on Google). In our neighborhood, there are many individuals from diverse backgrounds, so it is frustrating to encounter employees who find amusement in language barriers instead of offering support.

I used to think this pharmacy was top-notch, but now it's a far cry from what it once was. They constantly switch up my medications and brands on a monthly basis, with seemingly little concern for my well-being. Additionally, the employee at the checkout is extremely impolite.

I had made an appointment for my 8-year-old to have an allergy test online and confirmed it over the phone. However, when we arrived for the appointment, we were informed that they do not perform allergy testing for children as they are not licensed to do so. I was quite surprised as it had been confirmed over the phone. Apparently, the person who took my booking was not a regular staff member. It's disappointing to have wasted time traveling to and from the appointment. I am now waiting for a refund. I don't think I will be using their services again. It seems very irresponsible for a healthcare provider.

I couldn't even give this pharmacy zero stars. My experience was absolutely dreadful. I have noticed a recurring pattern with individuals of foreign descent and I am planning to escalate this matter to the NHS. I sent an email on 1st March 2019, but once again, received a pitiful lack of response.

I phoned Drylaw Chemist, but the call kept disconnecting 4 times. I thought they might have an answering machine if they weren't going to answer the call. There was no need for them to let it ring out, but instead they hung up on the other end.

I've used their pharmacy a few times because they offer medication delivery. However, I was recently informed that they are no longer able to deliver to my area due to a lack of drivers. This is disappointing, especially considering they were able to do so before. It's frustrating when a service you rely on suddenly becomes unavailable. Needless to say, I will not be using them again.

I've been visiting Sam at Dears Pharmacy in Drylaw for about 4 weeks now as I began the Lipotrim weight loss program they offer. Sam has been extremely supportive and approachable. I've called with several questions and she's always been very helpful. I've lost 26 pounds in just 4 weeks. I also want to mention that all the staff at this branch are knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist.
