Always a good choice for cosmetics and common ailments.

Top-notch stock and a friendly team.
Noah Rogers (29/07/2025, 11:58):
Just a friendly heads up: it's always good to double-check if your number has been logged by the pharmacy, even if they promise to give you a heads up when your prescription is good to go. My mistake, not theirs.
Russell Lewis (25/07/2025, 17:14):
The staff at this pharmacy is top-notch!
Donald Baker (22/07/2025, 11:19):
The pharmacist was absolutely brilliant! They were so helpful and kind, even though they seemed really busy. I'm truly grateful for their assistance.
Arthur Ramirez (21/07/2025, 11:12):
Can you believe that this is happening? A person with a disability is in dire need of a crucial medication that is scarce, and they are relying on an online stock checker that I should be updating. And what do I do? Blame them and say, "you should have called." The pharmacist's attitude was simply dreadful, and they only bothered to apologize once I was visibly upset. Unbelievable!
Teresa Gray (19/07/2025, 10:21):
This place was a wee bit slow, a tad rude, and lacking professionalism. It appears they dinnae ken about the Fringe or that folk without a Scottish GP might visit them.
Jessica Anderson (17/07/2025, 12:25):
I have had the most unpleasant encounter with the pharmacist at Boots on St. Patrick Street. Upon reviewing the prescription I received from York Hospital, he informed me that it was invalid due to the absence of GP registration. I tried explaining that I am from New Zealand, have no access to a medical center, and do not know how to reach York Hospital. Despite my pleas for assistance, he simply responded, "It's not within my responsibilities to handle these matters for you." Luckily, I sought help at another pharmacy nearby, where they accepted the prescription without any issues, enabling me to obtain my medication.
The entire ordeal was quite distressing, and the lack of professionalism in the staff's response was disheartening. I intend to share this experience with my friends in both NZ and the UK.
Elizabeth Simmons (17/07/2025, 01:06):
The staff at the pharmacy were absolutely delightful. They truly went the extra mile to assist me in obtaining my asthma medication. I am incredibly grateful for their exceptional service!
Kathryn Turner (16/07/2025, 01:10):
I must say, I had a rather unpleasant experience at this Pharmacy. Despite my efforts to be courteous, the staff member displayed a dismissive attitude and seemed unwilling to assist me with any inquiries. It was quite frustrating, especially considering that I am of Asian descent.
Louis Brown (15/07/2025, 07:20):
Absolutely loving it! The loyalty card is just top-notch.
Harper Taylor (14/07/2025, 15:26):
The staff at this pharmacy are absolutely wonderful. They put in a lot of effort and truly deserve recognition for their hard work. They are incredibly friendly, polite, and efficient. I always feel confident and reassured that I will encounter no unnecessary issues when it comes to obtaining my medication. This is especially important for individuals with long-term health conditions.
Joe Nelson (12/07/2025, 03:06):
You can never go wrong with boots, mate. They not only look stylish but also offer great support and protection for your feet. Whether you're heading out for a night on the town or planning a rugged hike, a good pair of boots will have your back. Plus, they're versatile enough to match any outfit. Trust me, investing in a quality pair of boots is always a good move.
Hannah Brooks (08/07/2025, 20:47):
That pharmacy is quite pricey.
Gerald Sanders (08/07/2025, 17:04):
I forgot to bring my medications when I was in Edinburgh for the weekend. Fortunately, the pharmacist there was a great help. They reached out to my doctor's office and quickly got my prescription sorted out in under an hour. Much appreciation for their assistance!
Cheryl Ramos (05/07/2025, 19:29):
The staff at this establishment are absolutely brilliant and incredibly kind! They assisted me right away and displayed exceptional professionalism.
Lucy Anderson (03/07/2025, 18:33):
This establishment is terribly managed and the staff are unhelpful, the pharmacist is dismissive no matter how much business they are handling with prescriptions, and both workers will claim the store is very busy. The level of service pales in comparison to other Boots and rival pharmacies:(
Janice Ortiz (03/07/2025, 07:17):
The staff may be small in size, but they are incredibly helpful.
Bryan Green (29/06/2025, 12:44):
This Boots pharmacy is fast and effective, the staff were dressed neatly and polite. Boots pharmacies have a good reputation throughout the city, which is all you can really ask for. I often pick up a prescription for my neighbor and have never encountered any issues.
Pamela Graham (28/06/2025, 11:54):
The advertised opening time was 9am. I arrived and waited outside the pharmacy until 9:20am, only to find out that the staff did not have the keys to open the door. Eventually, a lady with glasses arrived to let the staff in, but then she asked customers to wait outside. A delivery man with a security lock box also had to wait outside until the business opened. Once inside, we were informed that we had to wait for the staff to log in before being served.

I was the first person to be attended to at 9:30am, only to be told that the almond oil ear drops prescribed by my doctor were out of stock or discontinued. The staff suggested I try another pharmacy. As a local business owner, I expressed my disappointment at not being informed about the stock issue at the advertised opening time. The lady responsible for opening the store mentioned that it was not her fault that they didn't have the stock.

I tried to explain that my concern was not the lack of stock but rather the lack of empathy in serving me significantly late at 9:30am. The lady insisted that it was also not her fault for arriving late. Due to the delay, the pharmacy lost around 15 customers who had arrived after 9am but decided to leave as they were not willing to wait for the staff to show up for work.
