I popped into this Asda and must say, it's not the best experience. The toilets are always in a state and that's why I can only give it 1 star.
Joan Lewis (14/09/2025, 04:19):
Bought everything I needed. Top-notch delivery service. Website was a breeze to navigate.
Sean Harris (13/09/2025, 16:33):
The shelves were bare, and the staff wasn't very helpful. The prices have skyrocketed so much that we decided to go to Aldi instead.
Lawrence Ramos (12/09/2025, 08:33):
I recently placed an order for home delivery online. The gentleman who brought my order was Robert from the Elgin ASDA store. I tend to feel a bit nervous when interacting with strangers, but Robert was so pleasant and patient, which helped me feel at ease. He is truly a kind soul!

Wishing Robert and all the wonderful folks at ASDA a fantastic new year ahead.

Thank you!

Fantastic job by this store in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of customers. Smooth transactions, no unnecessary inquiries, and a wide selection of essential items. Customers also deserve recognition for their cooperation in maintaining social distancing measures. Stay safe and remember to only venture out when absolutely necessary. Cheers!

A splendid emporium for procuring household essentials and the like.

Why prices keep rising? Lack of deliveries is so frustrating. I might have to look for another place to shop.
Sarah Nelson (29/08/2025, 11:35):
I recently purchased some Muller Light yogurts, getting 10 for £3 - seemed like a great deal to me. However, upon reaching the cashier, only 6 were rung up, totaling £4.08!! Can someone please explain how that adds up to a bargain?! To top it off, the 6 rhubarb and custard, and 4 cranberry yogurts were all sitting snugly on a cardboard tray together. Oh, the joys of supermarket surprises!
Amanda Price (29/08/2025, 06:11):
I must say, the lack of upkeep, unhelpful and snarky staff, and less-than-pleasant fellow shoppers truly left a lot to be desired. I highly recommend steering clear of this establishment and opting for Lidl, conveniently located right next door.
Janice Kim (22/08/2025, 20:01):
The cleanliness left much to be desired, as did the short expiry dates on the food. The appearance of the chicken was not impressive either. I will not be rushing back anytime soon.
Jonathan Brooks (22/08/2025, 01:00):
So this pair of young girls decided to make some white slime. Can you believe it? Well, the thing is, that white slime ended up getting stuck in my shoe! I had to stop right there on Reidhaven Street and clean up the whole mess. Just my luck, right?
Julie Ross (20/08/2025, 23:52):
The Elgin store may be a bit run-down and outdated, but the staff there are absolutely amazing and very helpful. A few of the security personnel can be a bit strict, so it's best to have your receipts handy just in case. The store could definitely use a major revamp, but the George products still offer great value for money.
Michelle Taylor (15/08/2025, 08:19):
Stock is currently limited on the shelves.
Ruth Bennett (14/08/2025, 21:33):
I woke up this mornin' thinkin' I'd 'ave a lovely 12 item breakfast, toast and tea in Elgin Asda cafe. It was busy around 11.45, so I was told to take a seat and it'd be brought to me. So I went to the till and paid, asked for ketchup and received 1 sachet, there ain't a war on, we don't need to ration. Then when my breakfast arrived via another customer as server sent it to a different table, I noticed the potato cakes were actually hash browns. In Scotland, a potato cake is a tattie scone! With 3 burnt sausages and bacon which were just barely cooked. As a 'ead chef for a large company, I don't usually complain but this was absolutely the worst breakfast I've 'ad in a long time. I 'ope my thoughts and comments 'elp you improve the cafe. And I will be back in the area soon to try again.
Eric Flores (14/08/2025, 12:16):
The Asda in Elgin is top-notch, absolutely smashing job, chaps.
Grace Kim (13/08/2025, 23:20):
This store has a lot to offer with competitive prices for well-known brands. They have a great selection of high-quality wines, cosmetics, George clothing, homeware, and shoes, among other things. The variety and choices available are fantastic, and the prices are very competitive. You can't go wrong shopping at this Asda store. The staff is also very pleasant and helpful, making it a great experience every time I visit.
Rachel Clark (13/08/2025, 14:59):
Well, what can I say about this Supermarket? It's a large store that offers a wide range of everyday items, with varying levels of quality and prices that can be good or high. The staff on the shop floor are helpful and happy to assist you, but the manager, to put it mildly, lacks customer service skills and is quite arrogant, treating customers as if they were of a lower class.
Rose Peterson (13/08/2025, 14:42):
I popped into the supermarket and it seemed like they weren't too bothered about enforcing those pesky government guidelines on masks and Covid. Definitely won't be visiting this place again anytime soon.
Adam Mitchell (11/08/2025, 16:35):
I've been shopping at Asda for years now, and I must say that the staff there are always so friendly and helpful. A big thank you to everyone who has been working during these challenging times to ensure that we all have access to groceries. Your hard work is truly appreciated.
Edward Nelson (10/08/2025, 20:10):
If you're in the mood for some fresh fruit and veggies, steer clear of Asda. That store must be the absolute pits when it comes to stocking the essentials. It's been on a downward spiral lately and now seems to have more shelves bare than filled.
