They do not provide "free bags for life" as stated on their corporate website.
Billy Parker (21/07/2025, 07:28):
Great variety of top-notch products in a tidy, welcoming store. The staff are very helpful and there always seems to be enough people at the checkouts to keep the lines moving quickly, except during the busiest hours.
Thomas Murphy (20/07/2025, 01:12):
This enormous store boasts an extensive array of products. I frequently come across items in unexpected locations, which can make them a tad tricky to find. Recently, they've rearranged the refrigerated goods, adding to the confusion. However, the checkout staff are remarkably amiable and welcoming.
Kimberly Gonzales (17/07/2025, 13:31):
Excellent spot, with parking available around the back (and a convenient extra entrance door), friendly staff, and an enjoyable shopping experience.
Alexander Alexander (15/07/2025, 22:48):
Always greeted with prompt and courteous service at this establishment, and recently encountered an issue with a product that was quickly and satisfactorily resolved by the attentive staff members on duty.
Leonard Edwards (12/07/2025, 13:57):
I have never stepped foot in this store before, but I decided to go with my family today. Never again. When you enter a store, you expect to do your shopping, head to the checkout, and continue with your day. However, as I was doing my shopping, I felt like I was being watched like a hawk. I was being followed, and I'm not sure why. The store employees were constantly shadowing me, pretending to be busy but really just tracking my every move.

I will never set foot in that store again for the rest of my life, that's for sure. I called and made a complaint to a manager over the phone. Those people who think it's acceptable to stare, follow, and make customers feel uncomfortable seem to forget that many of us out there remember faces quite well.
Jeremy Ross (12/07/2025, 04:58):
This shop is fantastic, very well organized. The coffee shop is open and looking fabulous, with a wide selection of Christmas food and amazing deals.
Megan Fisher (12/07/2025, 00:33):
As an Employee meself for the company, can't agree more! Top-notch service and delightful Staff! They've got a petrol station right next to the shop, plus a massive Car Park.
Harold Phillips (11/07/2025, 08:35):
Spotlessly clean, with a welcoming team. Ample free parking available. Additionally, there is a shoe repair shop, dry cleaners, and an Argos pick-up point on the premises. This supermarket is one of the larger locations, offering a wide array of groceries, homeware, and even some clothing options.
Grace Kim (09/07/2025, 04:56):
The recycling section is top-notch, offering 5p for every item (tin can, bottle, etc) you bring in. The Scan and Go app is fantastic and a real time-saver.
Jack Myers (09/07/2025, 01:20):
Fantastic supermarket. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made my shopping experience a delight.
Ruth Lee (08/07/2025, 14:12):
The food selection here is absolutely splendid. While the parking situation was decent, it did take a bit of maneuvering to secure a parent and child spot due to the peak hour rush. Nevertheless, there was no shortage of helpful staff at hand. The fresh produce was top-notch and abundantly available. The employees were all quite amiable, making for a pleasant shopping experience overall.
Ruth Powell (05/07/2025, 17:19):
As a seasoned SEO specialist in the blogosphere dedicated to all things Supermarket, I couldn't help but feel a tad let down by a recent shopping experience. While I fully grasp the concept of low stock caused by roadblocks hindering the arrival of new merchandise, it was quite perplexing to witness the haphazard rearrangement of products from their usual shelves without a corresponding update to the overhead signage on the aisles. The lack of clarity not only irked me but also seemed to befuddle the staff members themselves. Quite the head-scratcher, I must say!
Teresa Graham (03/07/2025, 17:58):
This store is really tidy and organized, making it simple to locate all the items you need. Plus, using a Nectar card can help you save some extra cash as well.
Virginia Powell (26/06/2025, 14:12):
Sainsbury's on Christmas Eve. Loads of staff and all checkouts open, well done.
Deborah Robinson (25/06/2025, 01:35):
Top-notch supermarket. Fantastic fresh fruit, veg, and meat. Impressive wine assortment.
Elizabeth Brown (23/06/2025, 05:53):
The staff can be a bit rude at times, and some customers too, but the goods are fantastic. The store is clean and well laid out, but I prefer to shop at Berryden as the staff there are more helpful and the customers are more polite. I had a bad experience with a really rude customer and didn't get much help from the staff either. Overall, not the best experience.
Timothy Ward (21/06/2025, 21:23):
Kevin from the staff was absolutely fantastic! Such a great help and so friendly. He truly is an asset to the company. Every time I visit, he greets me with a smile, making sure I'm doing well and have everything I require. A truly outstanding employee.
Gloria Young (21/06/2025, 18:01):
So, on Friday 12th April, I popped into the cafe for a spot of lunch and happened to overhear this heartwarming exchange. An elderly gentleman, seated all by his lonesome, divulged to one of the lovely staff members named Rebecca that it happened to be his special day - his Birthday, no less! With a warm smile, she extended her well wishes and scurried off, only to return bearing what appeared to be a piping hot cup of coffee or tea, declaring it a Birthday treat. Oh, what a delightful gesture that must have been! I just had to share this tale, as it truly warms the cockles of one's heart, doesn't it?
Thomas Perry (21/06/2025, 12:22):
I had a shopping experience at this supermarket last night on the 8th of December. Upon returning home, I discovered that our bread had a best before date of the 8th of December. This is not the first time this has occurred; previously, I purchased milk that was two days past its expiry date. It is essential for fresh produce to be promptly placed on the shelves, as it should not be the responsibility of the customer to inspect every item before purchase. This level of oversight is simply unacceptable!
