LloydsPharmacy in Inverness: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

LloydsPharmacy, located in Inverness, offers various service options for residents and visitors alike. From in-store shopping to convenient in-store pick-up, the pharmacy aims to cater to different needs. However, customer feedback reveals a complex picture regarding their services.

Payment Options Available

Customers can utilize various payment methods, including credit cards and debit cards. The pharmacy also offers an option for NFC mobile payments, making transactions quicker and easier. Despite these modern payment options, many customers have expressed frustration with the overall service quality.

Customer Feedback: The Good and the Bad

While some patrons appreciate the helpfulness of the pharmacists, particularly during busy times, others have reported unsatisfactory experiences with shop staff. One user noted, "The pharmacists are usually polite and helpful." Yet, several reviews highlighted a trend of rude and arrogant behavior from the shop team, leaving customers feeling disrespected.

Accessibility and Inclusivity

The pharmacy is committed to being LGBTQ+ friendly and has been noted as a transgender safe space. Moreover, accessibility is a priority, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance that ensures all customers can visit without barriers. Unfortunately, some customers have pointed out issues with wait times and service delays, especially for those needing urgent medications.

Delivery Services and Wait Times

LloydsPharmacy offers delivery services, but there have been complaints about the effectiveness of this option. One customer shared their frustration, stating, "Delivery driver claims he tried to deliver my prescription, even though he didn't." Others have echoed similar sentiments, warning that those requiring urgent medications should consider alternative pharmacies.

The Crowd Factor

During peak hours, the pharmacy tends to attract a crowd, leading to extended wait times. Customers have reported waiting anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes for assistance, further complicating their experience. One review lamented the disorganization, stating, "Very busy. But young guy was amazing. Helped me out a lot."

Final Thoughts

In summary, LloydsPharmacy in Inverness offers a mix of services designed to meet the community's needs. While their in-store shopping and payment options provide convenience, the customer experience is marred by inconsistent service quality. Those looking for a pharmacy may want to weigh their options carefully before deciding on LloydsPharmacy, considering both the positive and negative feedback shared by patrons.

I've been quite swamped lately, but this young chap was absolutely fantastic. He really went above and beyond to assist me. Much appreciated!
Kelly Ward (01/06/2025, 02:10):
This pharmacy expert is truly informative and incredibly helpful.
Joseph Peterson (31/05/2025, 09:05):
The staff is top-notch, and there is a wide range of items that one might require.
Jack Sanchez (30/05/2025, 11:22):
Forget about the long waiting times and the rude treatment they gave my elderly mother. They showed no compassion and were completely incompetent, blaming missing prescriptions on everyone but themselves. The staff is terrible, acting like teenagers working at Tesco. They are definitely in the wrong profession. I recommend anyone using Greig Street to switch to Boots in town or Grant Street.
Richard Lee (30/05/2025, 07:08):
I phoned up to get a refill on my prescription, but they insisted I come in person to the pharmacy. I explained that I couldn't make it in, but they just repeated their request for me to come in. They didn't give any explanation for why I couldn't do it over the phone. The service at Lloyd's has been absolutely dreadful for the past 6 months - either the shop isn't open or they're not answering the phone because of a staff shortage.
