The Forfar boots is disgustingly dirty. I stood in line for 10 minutes at the checkout and was completely ignored by the staff. It was only when another customer informed me that I needed to queue in the pharmacy line that I learned where to go. It would have been helpful if a staff member had directed me there in the first place. The wait was far too long.

I suggested to the manager that they should consider putting up a sign to indicate where customers should queue, but she seemed uninterested. All the other customers were discussing the poor service while waiting.

The overall experience was dreadful. Boots the chemist is really dropping the ball when it comes to standards. The place is in desperate need of a good clean.

The GP had sent a prescription for allergy treatment to Boots days in advance, but upon checking with the pharmacy, they claimed not to have received it. After contacting 111 since the GP was closed, I was informed that the prescription had indeed been sent to Boots, yet they were refusing to provide it to me without any explanation. This is quite disheartening as I am about to go on holiday and it is imperative that I have my prescription on hand to manage my allergy symptoms. It is frustrating to be denied access to medication that I have been previously prescribed without a valid reason. Boots' lack of transparency in this matter is truly disappointing, as they falsely asserted that they had not received the doctor's email instead of directly addressing the issue at hand.

Expect to wait in line for about 45 minutes. The text reminders for prescriptions are not always reliable. Sometimes prescriptions aren't ready even after being told to come back. It would be helpful if the website updated their hours to show they are closed between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM for lunch.

It took ages to be attended to at the pharmacy. There were 4 employees behind the counter, but only 1 was serving customers. There were 8 people in line before another staff member finally offered to help.
