Exploring Dyce Shopping Centre: Accessibility and On-Site Services

Dyce Shopping Centre, located in Aberdeen, offers a blend of convenience and variety for shoppers. While it primarily features a large ASDA supermarket, there are several other shops and services that enhance the overall shopping experience.

Accessibility Features

One of the notable aspects of Dyce Shopping Centre is its wheelchair-accessible entrance and well-organized layout. The wheelchair-accessible car park ensures that individuals with mobility challenges can easily access the centre. Additionally, the shopping environment has been described as spacious, allowing for comfortable navigation throughout the aisles.

Service Options Available

The shopping centre hosts a variety of on-site services including Boots, Subway, a hairdresser, and even a dentist. This makes it not just a place for groceries but a one-stop-shop for various needs. However, some comments have pointed out that the experience may be impacted by the presence of school children during peak times, making certain areas crowded and less enjoyable.

Customer Feedback on Shopping Experience

Reviews reveal mixed experiences at Dyce Shopping Centre. Some visitors appreciate the helpful staff and the comprehensive range of goods available, especially at ASDA. However, there have been concerns regarding the stock levels, with reports of empty shelves and limited choices, particularly during busy shopping periods like Christmas. While assessing the state of the centre, some reviewers have noted that the ambiance could be improved, citing a dank and dark atmosphere that feels uninviting. Additionally, while many appreciate the cleanliness upon entry, there are mentions of poor toilet facilities that could use some attention.

Conclusion

In summary, Dyce Shopping Centre stands as a convenient local hub with significant accessibility features and service options. Although there are areas for improvement in terms of ambiance and stock availability, it remains a useful destination for daily shopping needs. Whether you're visiting for the petrol station, the on-site services, or simply to grab essentials at ASDA, Dyce Shopping Centre continues to serve its community.

I must say, the prices for certain items at this shopping mall are quite a steal compared to Tesco. Thumbs up!
Sharon Brooks (22/06/2025, 13:06):
Standard Asda amenities. A fairly pleasant shopping destination.
Margaret Stewart (22/06/2025, 10:25):
I wouldn't exactly label it as a shopping mall. The Asda is alright, and there's plenty of parking available. However, the toilets are quite subpar.
Joe Rivera (21/06/2025, 02:57):
The shopping mall is absolutely massive, with a wide range of fantastic products and stores. The variety of offerings available is truly impressive, making it a must-visit destination for any shopping enthusiast.
Allison Morales (18/06/2025, 17:40):
Quite a large Asda, but appears rather dilapidated. Several units are vacant, yet the Asda store itself is perfectly fine.
Benjamin Wilson (18/06/2025, 15:59):
The Shopping Mall features a Subway restaurant, Muse Hair Salon, and an optician's office. Additionally, there is a large Asda store on the premises. The restrooms are situated towards the rear of the center. The car park is in decent condition, with recently updated road signs for easier navigation.
Logan Campbell (15/06/2025, 21:35):
A shop that's well laid out and well-stocked. I popped in for a quick shopping trip and found it super easy to navigate thanks to the clear overhead signage.
Andrea Wright (15/06/2025, 17:39):
Economic downturn is evident. The shopping mall isn't as bustling as it once was. However, I must say that the car wash services offered there are truly exceptional!
Mia Bennett (13/06/2025, 14:18):
A wee selection of stores including Asda, Boots, Card Factory, Duncan and Todd, etc.
Bradley King (12/06/2025, 03:12):
Ah, what a lovely little shopping mall! You'll find a wee assortment of shops like Boots, Subway, and a card shop. There's also a tanning cabin, a dentist, and even a hair salon. And if you wander all the way through, you'll stumble upon Asda, which is usually the main attraction for most visitors. Cheers!
Paul Garcia (11/06/2025, 06:29):
My second preferred Asda store, just after the one in Garthdee!
Barbara Rodriguez (10/06/2025, 04:35):
Spacious shopping mall with ample parking facilities and even a petrol station on-site. Featuring a variety of stores including charity shops, Boots, and even a Subway for dining options.
Brenda Jenkins (07/06/2025, 04:13):
Not a lot caught my eye - it's still a decent spot, but mostly dominated by a huge ASDA store at the heart of it all, with a handful of small shops tacked on.
