Exploring Well Pharmacy in Paisley: A Mixed Bag of Services

Well Pharmacy, located in Paisley, has been a topic of discussion among locals for its range of services and overall customer experience. While some customers appreciate the friendly staff and the wheelchair-accessible entrance, others have voiced significant concerns regarding service efficiency and management.

Service Options and Accessibility

The pharmacy offers various service options, including on-site services that cater to those with specific medication needs. It is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance, ensuring that everyone can access their services comfortably. However, the *customer feedback* suggests that while the accessibility might meet the standards, the service delivery often falls short.

Customer Experience: The Good and the Bad

Many reviews point to a crowd issue within the pharmacy, especially during peak hours. Customers have reported long waits due to insufficient staff at the counter. One parent shared their frustration about needing to collect a prescription for their child but having to wait only to be told it wasn’t available yet. Conversely, there are positive mentions of certain staff members who go above and beyond to assist customers. One individual noted how a staff member stayed late to ensure they could pick up necessary medications after hours. This highlights the potential for great customer service amidst the chaos.

Payment Options: Modern Solutions

Well Pharmacy supports various payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments, which facilitates quicker transactions. However, there have been instances where technical issues, such as lack of internet connectivity, hindered these payment methods, leaving customers in frustrating situations.

In-store Services: Shopping Experience

The in-store shopping experience has drawn mixed reviews. While some customers appreciate that it remains a LGBTQ+ friendly environment, others have raised issues regarding cleanliness and stock availability. Many reported that despite assurances, necessary prescriptions were often unavailable, prompting them to seek alternatives. Additionally, the in-store pick-up service has received criticism for inefficiency. Customers expecting quick service often found themselves waiting far longer than anticipated, leading to calls for improved organizational skills among staff.

Final Thoughts: Room for Improvement

In conclusion, Well Pharmacy in Paisley offers essential pharmaceutical services, along with an array of payment options and accessibility features. However, the mixed customer feedback indicates a need for enhanced management and organizational strategies to improve the overall experience. With dedicated staff members striving to provide excellent service, there is hope that Well Pharmacy can turn around its reputation and deliver the reliable service that the community deserves.

What a laughable pharmacy. I popped in last week with a prescription at 4:40pm and was informed it wouldn't be ready until the following day, even though they close at 5:30pm. Today I swung by at 4:20pm only to be told they didn't have a pharmacist on hand to verify the medications, so it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow!

I must say, this pharmacy was top-notch before. I would get a text notification as soon as my prescription was ready, or wait just a few minutes if I handed it in personally. But now, waiting for an hour? Not very convenient for folks who can't hang about for that long, anticipating their meds.

A recent experience update: Please steer clear of this pharmacy. Utterly inept, I tell you. The place is teeming with flies, and that's just at the storefront! If you're fed up with their incompetence and audacity like I was, reach out to your doctor's office and ask to have your prescription transferred elsewhere. Quick and painless.

Absolute rubbish pharmacy. They didn't have my full prescription, asked me to come back the next day, which I did, only to find it still wasn't prepared. Returned the following day and it still wasn't ready.
I eventually gave up attempting to collect my prescription. Won't be using their services again.
Perhaps if they focused more on their work instead of chatting, customers wouldn't have cause to gripe.

STAY CLEAR. If I could, I would rate this pharmacy with zero stars.

It's so poorly managed that it's laughable. I visited to pick up a prescription for my one-year-old child. After enduring a 15-minute wait in line because only one staff member was assisting customers while the others chatted away, and many prescription orders were being mixed up, I finally handed over my prescription. They checked if it was available and said it would take 15-20 minutes.

Upon returning, I was informed that the prescription was out of stock, and I would need to come back the next day around 12-1pm. When I did return, I was once again told it wasn't available.

How can a pharmacy be so incompetent at their job? It truly boggles the mind. They lack any organizational skills or customer service etiquette and seem to have little regard for the importance of fulfilling prescriptions promptly.

On a positive note, the lady who assisted me was quite pleasant, and it was evident she was struggling with her tasks while her colleagues chatted away in the background.

As mentioned, steer clear.

I've been going to this pharmacy for about a year now, and every month to month and a half I have to order my epilepsy prescription. I've had trouble getting in touch with the pharmacy each time I need my medication; the phone just keeps ringing and I have to make my meds last until I can finally get them, which usually takes about a week (other pharmacies take 2-3 working days).
Elizabeth Ward (02/06/2025, 13:50):
In comparison to the Broomlands Street location, the staff at this branch truly exhibit impeccable manners. Top-notch service, I must say!
Isabella King (29/05/2025, 19:05):
I have observed a claim that the pharmacy was dirty and infested with flies! That is simply not true. The pharmacy is immaculately clean. The staff are incredibly pleasant and welcoming, and I have never encountered any problems at Well Glasgow Rd Paisley.
Sean Gomez (21/05/2025, 18:41):
This pharmacy is absolutely fantastic! They always have a great selection in stock, and they really put in the extra effort to make sure you don't have to wait in line for long.
Barbara Davis (17/05/2025, 02:11):
Fantastic pharmacy, top-notch customer service
Riley Turner (15/05/2025, 21:40):
The customer service was amazing, mate! I went to the out-of-hours GP on Saturday and got a prescription for antibiotics, but they only had enough for a few days. I was supposed to pick up the rest on Monday, but I was working until 5:30 and couldn't make it back to Paisley until 6:15. But John offered to stay late so I could collect it after work, he even called me at 5:10 to check if I was still good to come by. That's top-notch customer service, right there!
Ralph Graham (15/05/2025, 16:57):
I had the most dreadful experience while visiting this pharmacy in the UK. The customer service was extremely poor and disorganised. They were quick to become defensive and seemed to resort to lying in order to cover up discriminatory behavior. Needless to say, I will never return to that place and will make sure my family and friends steer clear as well.
Ralph Ward (13/05/2025, 11:22):
They are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Marilyn Perry (09/05/2025, 11:23):
Cheers, mate! Just wanted to drop by and say that your content is absolutely smashing. Keep up the great work!
Teresa Moore (09/05/2025, 06:26):
The staff at this pharmacy is absolutely lovely! They're always willing to help and provide great customer service.
Kevin Reed (05/05/2025, 15:49):
Just a fortnight back, I had a bit of trouble at this pharmacy as they refused to serve me due to "internet issues," making it impossible for them to run the card machine. Not only that, on two separate occasions, my doctor's office informed me it would take three business days to process my prescription. Yet when I visited the pharmacy, they claimed my prescription wasn't ready because they "didn't receive it in time" — excuse me, but that implies they failed to process my order promptly or schedule their deliveries correctly! The whole situation was chaotic and highly inefficient, with the staff showing little concern. Needless to say, I won't be using their services for my prescriptions in the future. Quite a disappointment, I must say.
