Thankfully, my neighbor suggested Abbey Chemist @ Lonend, and I must say, the team there is absolutely outstanding. They truly go the extra mile in providing assistance, making my life much easier. Now that the automatic medicine dispenser is up and running smoothly, things have quieted down a bit. However, there always seems to be someone waiting for their medication, no matter what.

The only way to receive decent service at this pharmacy is if you happen to be a drug user seeking methadone treatment. If you're not contributing to their profits through your government-sponsored addiction, they simply won't bother.

They prefer to neglect disabled customers who require a regular prescription, leaving them without necessary medications month after month. Their management skills are abysmal, they couldn't even handle a simple raffle!

Despite being a managed prescription, it seems like it's never ready these days. Every time I go, it feels like everyone in line in front and behind me gets served and leaves while I'm left waiting like a plumb until I become frustrated. This was never an issue before, but it's an absolute mess nowadays.

I went in on Tuesday to pick up a prescription, which the staff managed to lose right in front of me. They then told me they would call me back. As if! It's now Thursday and still no news.

I understand that Covid may be causing longer wait times, but it doesn't excuse the carelessness and poor service.

I must say, the wait times at this pharmacy are quite lengthy, even when you find yourself as the sole customer in the establishment. It seems that regardless of whether you're picking up a prescription or simply purchasing a lollipop, you can expect to wait a solid 15 minutes for your order to be prepared. Quite the conundrum, if you ask me! 😋

Absolutely useless, I must say. I've visited this pharmacy a few times before and after COVID-19. Today, I had to wait in a very long queue outside for an hour just for two people to enter and exit. Can you believe it? Is this the standard we're at in terms of healthcare? It's a complete joke. This place should honestly be closed down as it's not up to par with its intended purpose. The service was just as bad before COVID-19 - it took me 55 minutes once just to get a simple set of pills from the shelf.

The staff at this pharmacy are absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful, and the pharmacist is extremely knowledgeable. I receive my medication in a neat little box, delivered by drivers who are kind, funny, and always good for a laugh.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They were even open on Christmas Day, respect ❤️ They saved my Christmas dinner by providing me with toothache relief haha.

Absolutely dreadful experience at this pharmacy! I wasted a good 40 minutes waiting in line outside, and another 10 minutes inside waiting for my prescription to be prepared, even though it had been ready for a week! The latest excuse they gave me was that they were short-staffed, but honestly, this place has always been a mess, even before the pandemic.

They really need a better system in place, like other pharmacies have, where a staff member handles the outside queue and sends more complex inquiries inside. Instead, this pharmacy makes people, including children, wait in a crowded car park with cars moving around, unable to find a parking spot because they're all taken up by the 15 people waiting to collect their prescriptions.

They claim they don't have enough staff to make improvements for customers, many of whom have mobility issues and struggle to stand in long queues. Yet, once you're finally inside, you see plenty of staff just hanging around, not doing much or chatting, and completely ignoring the frustrated customers in the queue.

I would recommend going elsewhere unless you have time to spare!
