I must say, this pharmacy has been quite the disappointment. The staff behind the counter seem to gaze at you with a vacant expression – could it be the medications affecting them, I wonder? It’s as if I had to repeat my last name, Smith, umpteen times before it finally registers in their minds! And then, just when you think they’ve got it, they come back after 10 minutes asking, "did you mention Smith, and how do you spell that?"

To top it off, they call it a day promptly at 4 pm, despite having operating hours until 5:30 pm! The lackadaisical and uninterested demeanor of the employees is evident. There’s a plethora of staff present, but none seem to be actively engaged in their duties – I observed numerous coffee cups strewn about. I would rate this establishment zero stars if given the option, but alas, the program doesn’t permit it.

The pharmacy staff aren't at fault, mate. They're absolutely swamped with customers and folks waiting on prescriptions. We put in a request to have a chemist shop at the retail park, but it got turned down. The park definitely needs one, considering the sheer number of homes that have sprung up nearby. The higher-ups claim there's no demand, but most people you ask would beg to differ and say it's bloody necessary.

If you happen to be over 35 and require emergency contraception, I'd recommend looking for alternatives. The male pharmacist may cast doubt on your decision, leading to a rather uncomfortable and distressing encounter. It's disheartening that in this day and age, a woman's autonomy isn't fully respected in such establishments. On a more positive note, I'll award two stars for the lady who provided assistance initially, as she was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.
