Has this pharmacy come under new management?
It used to be alright....absolutely dreadful now. They've started turning off their phones, so I can't even reorder my repeat prescriptions over the phone. Now I have to physically go into the chemist every time. I recently asked for an emergency supply because I had missed the ordering deadline and it took over an hour just to get a simple pack of 7 common tablets. I think it might be time to find a new pharmacy!
Alexander Myers (12/05/2025, 18:11):
I absolutely adore the dispensing machine! It allows me to collect my prescriptions at my convenience, rather than being limited to the usual opening hours. It's such a time-saver and makes the whole pharmacy experience much more convenient for me.
Bobby Myers (12/05/2025, 02:36):
An incredibly attentive clerk and a speedy service
Mark Martinez (12/05/2025, 01:45):
Top-notch service all the time.
Cynthia Ward (11/05/2025, 05:31):
I've been waiting for my prescription refills for more than a week now. It's impossible to get through on the phone, and there are always long lines inside the pharmacy. The new app they introduced never seems to update properly.

The only positive thing I can say is that their contactless service with the 24/7 pick-up point is convenient, but it only works if the staff remember to put your prescription in there.
Alan Gomez (09/05/2025, 16:37):
Always extremely user-friendly, brilliant concept!
Samantha Sullivan (08/05/2025, 10:42):
Outstanding service. Can pick up prescription, even at 9 pm at evening.
Anna Harris (08/05/2025, 05:46):
Long queues, with folks waiting at least 30 minutes to pick up their prescriptions. They claim to be understaffed, yet I can clearly see many employees in the back chatting away. I've attempted to collect my items for four days now, but the wait is so lengthy that I have to give up and return to work.
Evelyn Cox (07/05/2025, 22:40):
I must say, I have had quite the pleasant experience with this pharmacy. The pharmacist and the team there are incredibly helpful and seem to really know their stuff when it comes to us customers. Due to being in self-isolation, my husband has been handling some of the shopping duties, and we were expecting him to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy as we usually do not receive deliveries. To our surprise, yesterday, my prescription was actually delivered right to our doorstep. A big thank you to St. James' Pharmacy for easing one of our concerns.
Laura Lee (06/05/2025, 12:42):
Closed for 2 hours (from 12 to 2), frequently understaffed, consistently struggling to locate prescriptions. Currently running a day behind with orders and may prioritize other customers over yours!! Consider seeking assistance elsewhere.
Adam Graham (06/05/2025, 11:09):
The collection machine is a fantastic addition for those looking to pick up their prescriptions at a convenient time. With pharmacies facing increasing demands and doctor's offices experiencing less pressure, having a collection machine can help free up staff to better assist customers.
Lawrence Allen (04/05/2025, 17:11):
That's a brilliant notion, mate! It saves you heaps of time, doesn't it? Instead of queuing up, you can grab your prescriptions round the clock from a machine right at the pharmacy. And it also leaves the staff free to help other customers. I'd certainly recommend it to my family and mates. It's something other pharmacies ought to consider implementing, this system. Top job, St James Pharmacy, for rolling out this system. Cheers!
