I had a rather unpleasant experience at the pharmacy, as the staff appeared quite clueless. I inquired about the stop smoking service and was simply advised to "complete a form and choose a date next week to quit, then show up the day before"...It strikes me as odd that if it were as easy as selecting a date and quitting cold turkey, why would I be seeking professional help? I have utilized smoking cessation services in the past, and this is not the standard procedure. It can be really frustrating encountering unnecessary obstacles in accessing treatment. I believe the staff would benefit from improved training.

The staff at this pharmacy seem to be a bit clueless. I have never encountered so many issues with any other pharmacy before - today, my partner made a special trip to pick up my prescription since I work far away in the city center and cannot make it during their weekday hours. However, he was informed that my prescription had already been picked up, which turned out to be false as the pharmacist confirmed when I called to double-check. It appears that the counter staff are unsure about how to provide proper pharmacy services. I might have to request my GP surgery to transfer my prescription service to a different pharmacist.

I have visited numerous pharmacies throughout the years, but Lindsay & Gilmour Portobello really stands out. Karen is amazing and truly enhances the business with her friendly and cheerful personality from the moment you step inside!

It's quite unfortunate because the staff at the pharmacy counter don't seem too bothered about aiding you. Rather than actively seeking items to assist with your needs or condition, they seem disinterested and just give a nonchalant shrug when they're unsure about something.

I genuinely wish that the establishment starts putting more effort into enhancing their customer service.
