Exploring Blackridge Pharmacy: A Community Cornerstone

Blackridge Pharmacy, located in the heart of Bathgate, serves as an essential resource for local residents. This pharmacy has been part of the community for years, providing various services and support to those in need.

NFC Mobile Payments and Payment Options

One significant concern among customers is the lack of modern payment options. As highlighted by several reviews, NFC mobile payments and debit cards are not accepted at this location. Customers expressed frustration, particularly during the pandemic when cash handling posed health risks. The introduction of credit cards and digital payment solutions would enhance the convenience and safety for patrons making quick visits.

Service Options and Customer Experience

The feedback on service at Blackridge Pharmacy is mixed. While some describe the staff as friendly and helpful, others have noted a lack of engagement. It's vital for pharmacies to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. A simple greeting can significantly impact customer experience. Enhancing service options may also involve training staff to ensure that they actively assist customers, which could greatly improve perceptions and satisfaction.

Delivery and Prescription Planning

For many patients, particularly the elderly, reliable delivery services or timely access to prescriptions are crucial. Reviews indicate that medication is often not ready when needed, creating stress for individuals reliant on these services. Implementing a streamlined planning process could help ensure that prescriptions are prepared in advance, minimizing wait times and enhancing overall patient care.

Pricing and Product Availability

Another common theme in customer feedback is the pricing and stock availability. Some users believe that prices are overpriced, especially when compared to other pharmacies. Ensuring competitive pricing while improving stock levels for commonly prescribed medications might be a way to retain loyal customers while attracting new ones.

A Fresh Start for Blackridge Pharmacy

Recently refurbished, the pharmacy aims to provide a better shopping experience for its visitors. However, despite the upgrades, maintaining a consistently stocked inventory remains critical. Customers expect to find what they need without excessive delays. In conclusion, while Blackridge Pharmacy holds a place of importance in the community, addressing payment options, service quality, product availability, and ensuring effective communication with customers would enhance its reputation and reliability. As the pharmacy continues to evolve, it has the potential to become an even more integral part of Blackridge's healthcare landscape.

The staff was absolutely lovely, the pharmacy had a great selection of products, although parking was a bit tricky for me since I wasn't familiar with the area. I would definitely consider using their services again in the future.

Amazing service from our neighborhood Pharmacy. They were so polite, efficient, and helpful.
Bobby Roberts (07/06/2025, 10:29):
The staff at this pharmacy are consistently courteous and accommodating.
Daniel Murphy (07/06/2025, 10:25):
Just visited the pharmacy after its lovely refurbishment - much larger now! The staff are well-organised and very polite. Prices are very reasonable for a small village pharmacy.
Diane Graham (04/06/2025, 05:15):
I must say, the customer service at this pharmacy is absolutely dreadful. They completely ignore you when you walk in and never seem to have the medication you need in stock. It's quite clear that they could benefit from some customer care training.
Tyler Evans (03/06/2025, 20:42):
On the 31st of December at 2:10 pm, I attempted to pick up my blood pressure medication, only to find the pharmacy closed. Then, on the 3rd of January at 4:20 pm, I walked to the chemist shop feeling lightheaded and anxious, only to discover it was closed once again. This level of service is truly disgraceful, a shame for the residents of Blackridge, many of whom are elderly and rely on their local pharmacy. The current providers should be embarrassed and consider handing over the service to someone who genuinely has the community's best interests at heart.
Patricia Cook (03/06/2025, 14:27):
I've never been able to get the medications I need prescribed. I've made an effort to show my support for the pharmacy, but after yet again not having the medication I needed in stock, I won't be returning (fed up with their excuses that are affecting my health).
Roger Adams (31/05/2025, 19:46):
The staff at this place is absolutely charming and really helpful.
Jason Butler (26/05/2025, 13:56):
Warm and welcoming assistance, so convenient to have a nearby chemist's!
Deborah Wilson (22/05/2025, 18:29):
You are all complicit in the potential demise of one of your patients. Just one phone call? I trust that it weighs heavily on all of your conscience for the remainder of your days.

General Practitioners are solely focused on making money for their practices.
Jeffrey Myers (18/05/2025, 21:40):
I've been going to the pharmacy for about 2 years now, and I always find the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Victoria Kim (14/05/2025, 11:30):
This pharmacy is really overpriced, has too many employees, and never has enough stock!
Ella Gomez (12/05/2025, 19:07):
It would be advisable to display the opening hours on the website page.
Ralph Gomez (11/05/2025, 06:08):
Fantastic Chemist with a very welcoming staff.
Aaron Bailey (10/05/2025, 03:48):
I'm terribly disappointed with this pharmacy service. As a 48-year-old woman, I expect to be treated with respect and not like a child. Every time I visit, my medication isn't ready, adding unnecessary frustration. Moreover, when I requested a refill two days earlier due to an upcoming holiday, they refused to accommodate my needs. This pharmacy is truly a disgrace to our tight-knit community.
Arthur Morales (03/05/2025, 08:02):
This wee pharmacy is absolutely brilliant, the service is top-notch!
Ella Baker (21/04/2025, 12:24):
Upon entering this pharmacy, I often feel as though I've disrupted a somber affair. The staff's demeanor is rather unwelcoming, with no warm greetings or smiles to be found. Instead, they fixate their gaze upon me until I make my request. Even my attempts at cordiality are met with stony silence – a simple "hi" remains unreciprocated. It's baffling that in this day and age of 2020, they have yet to embrace card payments, a necessity that became even more apparent during the pandemic. Despite these shortcomings, I begrudgingly visit solely to collect my prescriptions from the health center.
