Customers can easily make NFC mobile payments, along with traditional methods such as credit cards and debit cards. Planning Ahead: Prescription Services

While many customers appreciate the late opening hours, which accommodate those working odd shifts, some feedback highlights the importance of planning ahead. It’s advisable to call ahead for prescriptions, especially when patients are looking for specific, expensive items that may not always be in stock. Although there have been instances of waiting times exceeding 30 minutes, many customers report the staff’s efforts to complete prescriptions promptly.

Delivery and Customer Care

Some patrons appreciate the urgency with which their prescriptions are filled, even outside regular operating hours. Room for Improvement

Despite positive comments regarding staff friendliness and helpfulness, it’s essential to address concerns about service quality. Several reviews mention long wait times and the need for better communication during busy periods. Instances of rude behavior have been noted, which detracts from the overall experience. This pharmacy is always bustling with activity. The staff is extremely courteous and accommodating.
Zachary Ward (10/06/2025, 01:31):
I must say, the service and staff at this pharmacy are simply delightful. They were incredibly helpful, too! Keep up the excellent work 👍...
Christina Coleman (09/06/2025, 10:54):
I stood there for more than an hour waiting for my prescription, not a single apology or acknowledgment was given, even though there were plenty of staff members behind the counter.
Nancy Hall (08/06/2025, 13:09):
This pharmacy is top-notch, but finding parking can be a bit of a challenge.
Debra White (05/06/2025, 20:43):
Received fantastic service from the male pharmacist tonight. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my prescription was ready, even though it was close to closing time.
Stephen Walker (03/06/2025, 19:48):
Every month I make sure to place my repeat prescription order, and I always receive an email confirmation acknowledging its receipt. The system then advises me to wait until after noon the following day for processing. However, despite allowing anywhere from 2 to 5 additional days after this initial notification, the prescription is still not completed in a timely manner. This delay causes significant inconvenience as I am left waiting excessively for my medication. At times like these, the online service hardly seems worth the trouble.
Roy Nelson (03/06/2025, 19:21):
Great info on medications that interact, really helpful for those looking to avoid any potential complications!
Margaret Brooks (03/06/2025, 01:34):
I must say, had quite the unpleasant experience at this particular pharmacy. Despite understanding the current challenges we all face, the staff's rudeness was unwarranted. On one occasion with only two customers present and seven staff members (four of whom appeared to be simply chatting away), I found myself waiting a staggering 40 minutes. When I politely inquired about the delay, I was met with a suggestion to wait outside for my order, as the staff supposedly do not tolerate any form of mistreatment. It almost felt as though I was the one being mistreated. Consequently, I promptly switched pharmacies and have no intention of returning to that establishment.
Karen Howard (31/05/2025, 11:17):
A truly fantastic pharmacist, sorted out my medication issue and took the time to explain the potential side effects of mixing certain medications.
Randy Williams (29/05/2025, 04:54):
I had to ring up about a prescription! The staff were just lovely, so helpful and provided me with the info I was after.
Denise Sullivan (28/05/2025, 06:11):
This is without a doubt the most dreadful and unhelpful pharmacy in Coatbridge! I took a prescription to the counter and was informed that prescriptions were taking 20 minutes. I mentioned that I would return in 30 minutes. When I came back, the prescription had not even been started, yet I got the typical excuse that it was being checked. What a bunch of complete lies, I observed them starting to put it together as I waited. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, they were unable to provide one item and were short on another. The pharmacist is one of the most arrogant and unhelpful individuals I have ever encountered. This establishment seriously needs to improve its customer service.
Austin Davis (25/05/2025, 01:22):
I 'ave been usin' them for a year, went to pick up me prescription for an inhaler I 'ad ordered, and because me GP 'adn't sent it up, they're sayin' that because I ain't a regular customer, they won't give me one even though I've been usin' it for a year. It's a shame on a Saturday, it ain't a controlled drug and is on me repeat list. They've also lost the other side of it. The pharmacist and staff are really uncaring and incompetent.
Gabriel Foster (24/05/2025, 10:28):
This spot is a real gem, particularly if you're pulling odd shifts. The pharmacy here keeps its doors open later than most and their shelves are always well-stocked. It can get quite bustling at times, but the team goes above and beyond to ensure you're taken care of promptly. They've consistently been warm and welcoming. I've never had a negative encounter with this pharmacy, which is why I'll keep returning. I can't fault them in any way. The only downside, which isn't the pharmacy's doing, is the parking situation. The street is always packed as it's a bustling road, often necessitating parking a bit further and walking. However, given their late hours, it's well worth it.
Thomas Cruz (23/05/2025, 12:06):
The staff members are truly lacking in manners, and provide no assistance whatsoever.
Nancy Wilson (23/05/2025, 03:05):
Just pop down to Boots. You'll find a top-notch level of professionalism there. Absolutely top-notch.
Edward Murphy (20/05/2025, 09:27):
AVOID THIS PLACE, FIND ANOTHER OPTION. The personnel at this establishment are truly the most impolite individuals I have ever encountered, their behavior was so disrespectful I have not returned since. Take a gander at the image of three identical jars of honey, one is priced almost double compared to the other two, prominently showcased right by the cash register, that's how clueless these employees are. Hopefully, the situation has been rectified by now, considering this is a pharmacy, not a produce market.
Richard Hamilton (20/05/2025, 08:55):
After visiting 6 other pharmacies with no luck, I finally found what I needed here. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Peter Jenkins (20/05/2025, 08:49):
I was served in a jiffy, but had to wait for my prescription for over half an hour.
John Hernandez (19/05/2025, 00:23):
The staff at this establishment were not just unhelpful, but they seemed to be actively dissuading customers from participating in the smoking cessation program. This goes against the ethos of a pharmacy, in my opinion. As a result, I do not plan on returning to this place.
Mark Martin (16/05/2025, 21:02):
These nefarious individuals, peddling their wares in the light of day.
