Tillydrone Pharmacy: A Community Hub in Aberdeen

Tillydrone Pharmacy is more than just a place to pick up your medications—it's a vital part of the local community. However, various customer experiences indicate that improvements are needed in service and accessibility.

Payment Options for Convenience

To facilitate smooth transactions, Tillydrone Pharmacy accepts both debit cards and credit cards. Additionally, with the rise of technology, they have embraced NFC mobile payments, making it easier for customers to complete their purchases quickly.

Accessibility Matters

One important feature of Tillydrone Pharmacy is its wheelchair-accessible entrance. This allows all community members to access pharmacy services, although some customers have expressed concerns about overall accessibility when it comes to customer service and medication availability.

Planning for Improved Service

Customers have voiced frustration regarding the pharmacy's opening hours, often citing them as inadequate for those with urgent needs. Many suggest that the pharmacy should consider extending hours to at least 18:00 or 20:00 to better accommodate working individuals and parents with young children.

The Need for Quick Visits

A common theme in reviews is the desire for a quick visit experience. Some customers report waiting for extended periods for basic medications like cough syrup and paracetamol. The ideal scenario would be having prescriptions ready upon arrival, allowing for efficient service that respects customers’ time.

Customer Experiences Shape the Future

Despite the criticisms, many acknowledge the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. Positive experiences highlight how some employees know regular customers by name, enhancing the feeling of community. However, a number of reviews stress the need for systemic changes to ensure medications are regularly stocked and prescription wait times are minimized.

Conclusion: A Call to Action

Tillydrone Pharmacy holds an essential role in Aberdeen, but it must adapt to meet the community's expectations. By improving service efficiency, extending opening hours, and maintaining adequate stock levels, this pharmacy can transform from a source of frustration into a reliable local resource. The community deserves a pharmacy that prioritizes their health needs while also embracing modern payment options and accessibility standards.

This local pharmacy is absolutely wonderful! The customer service is top-notch and the selection of products is fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by for all your pharmaceutical needs.

Was the first to arrive at the pharmacy! Ended up being the last to leave. Waited for 2 antibiotic prescriptions for my 10-month-old baby and 3-year-old girl. All the junkies were served with their methadone before me while my children, with a temperature of 40, were waiting. Poor customer service, indeed.

Excellent neighborhood pharmacy! The staff is incredibly pleasant and helpful, and the prices are absolutely charming.

This pharmacy is a complete joke, I tell you. I shall have to delve into this further. The opening times are simply laughable, shutting up shop right in the middle of the day for an hour - why, oh why? It's clear that the management couldn't give a hoot about folks' problems and needs. That's why they have so many staffers running around, trying to cover up for this lack of service. Once again, I find myself without my essential medication for a good few days all because of their early closure at 16:30...really?? A proper pharmacy should be keeping its doors open until at least 18 - even 20 would be more like it! People need to get their meds, you know!
