I have been a customer of this pharmacy for many years, but recently their so-called 'improvements' have made it a mess. I just wanted to buy an over-the-counter product, but at the checkout, I was bombarded with personal questions for everyone to hear. Then, they invited me into a consultation room, even though I didn't ask for one. They asked me the same questions, checked them off on a list, and then insisted I needed antibiotics. I didn't want antibiotics, and if I thought I needed them, I would have consulted my GP. Finally, after 20 minutes, I got the medication I originally asked for. These people are acting like doctors when they are not! They should stick to serving customers and stop prescribing unnecessary medication.

I was quite disappointed with my recent experience at the pharmacy. I was referred by my optician for an eye ointment but was refused by both the pharmacist and staff. They didn't seem to be any more knowledgeable than an eye professional. I even tried to purchase it over the counter, but was still turned down. I reached out to Specsavers and they confirmed that the ointment should have been sold to me over the counter. Despite this information, I was still denied. Fortunately, I decided to visit another chemist and explained the situation, and they were able to provide me with the ointment without any issues. Every time I visit this particular pharmacy, there always seems to be some sort of problem. It's a shame, as requesting simple medications like eye ointment shouldn't be as difficult as trying to purchase illegal drugs.

I must say, I had quite a shocking experience with one of the pharmacists today regarding my husband's prescription. It was an error on his part (actually due to his GP's mistake), but the pharmacist refused to provide any emergency prescriptions in the future if this were to happen again! This was for important sugar testing strips for a type one diabetic, where having them can be a matter of life or death. The customer service and attitude displayed by this so-called 'professional' were very disappointing. I will definitely be filing a formal complaint. My suggestion would be to seek services from another pharmacy, as this one seems to lack the necessary competence and professionalism.

When I received the notification that they had our prescription, I called to see if they could drop them off as I only live across the road. I was told no, and that I had to use a family member or friend. Considering I am well into my 50s and any relatives still alive are on the other end of the city, and my friends all work, there was absolutely no help or advice provided on alternative options.
