Boots Pharmacy in Paisley: A Mixed Bag of Service

Boots Pharmacy, located in Paisley, has garnered a wide range of reviews from its customers. With fluctuating opinions on service options and overall management, it's essential to explore what this pharmacy offers in terms of planning, accessibility, and customer experience.

Service Options at Boots Pharmacy

Customers have reported various service options at Boots. The pharmacy provides an assortment of pharmaceutical services, including prescription filling and health consultations. However, many users have expressed dissatisfaction with the reliability of their repeat prescriptions. One user noted a significant issue where their medication was put on a two-month reorder when it should have been a one-month supply, leading to a dangerous situation regarding health.

Planning Your Quick Visit

For those considering a quick visit, the pharmacy's efficiency has been described as hit and miss. While some customers appreciate the in-store pick-up option, others have shared frustrating experiences, such as being unaware of prescription readiness or stock issues. For example, one customer recounted a time when they had to drive around multiple chemists to find medication for their child due to poor communication from Boots.

Payments and Accessibility

Boots Pharmacy accepts various payments, including credit cards, making transactions convenient for many customers. Furthermore, the pharmacy boasts a wheelchair-accessible entrance, which is crucial for ensuring that all individuals can access necessary services. However, the customer service aspect has raised concerns, with several reviews pointing out a lack of compassion and a negative attitude from staff.

Customer Feedback and Challenges

Customer feedback highlights serious challenges that the pharmacy faces. Reviews mention incompetent staff and a lack of responsibility in managing prescriptions. One user described an incident where they were left without necessary medication, emphasizing the need for better communication and customer service training among the staff. In contrast, some patrons praised the pharmacy's friendly team, pointing out that despite busy hours, they have received excellent care.

Conclusion

While Boots Pharmacy in Paisley has the potential to provide solid pharmaceutical services, the experiences of customers vary widely. Issues surrounding communication, repeat prescriptions, and customer service training must be addressed to improve overall satisfaction. For anyone considering a visit, keep these factors in mind to ensure your needs are met effectively.

I must say, this pharmacy establishment has a knack for deceiving customers about the availability of prescriptions. They tend to shift the responsibility back onto the customers for resolving issues, showing no willingness to take charge of locating prescriptions they already possess. Furthermore, it is appalling how they openly converse about prescriptions and medical conditions in front of other customers. The lack of compassion, care, and dedication to fundamental customer service standards is truly regrettable. It's rather disappointing.

Fantastic shop! The assistance I received was top-notch, everyone was so helpful.

I must say, the service at this pharmacy has taken a severe nosedive recently. They neglect to keep you informed regarding the status of your prescription, or in my situation, if there are any issues with it. Imagine my dismay when my 9-year-old was left without their medication after a week of waiting for the prescription to be processed. I had to scramble to six different chemists during rush hour before finally finding the required medication in Govan. Absolutely appalling customer care from Boots Ralston. They didn't even bother to offer to contact other pharmacies for a stock check. It's simply unacceptable.
Jason Turner (22/06/2025, 21:01):
The staff here are a bit rubbish, mate. They keep blaming the surgery for not getting me repeat prescriptions on time.
Diana Gray (20/06/2025, 23:54):
Dreadful experience.

The staff at this pharmacy lack competence and seem unhappy.

There are superior pharmacies in the vicinity. For instance, Mackies on Glasgow Road offers a 24-hour robotic dispenser and provides delivery services.
Emily Williams (20/06/2025, 04:31):
Pharmacy and team are absolutely brilliant. They are always bustling but truly the cream of the crop. I only have eyes for this pharmacy - customer care is always their top priority.
Beverly Kim (17/06/2025, 08:00):
This pharmacy has recently come under new management, and I must say it is now excellently stocked with a wide range of medications and products. The service provided is consistently friendly and helpful, making it a top choice for all your healthcare needs.
Alexander Jones (28/05/2025, 12:26):
Quite unreliable when it comes to refilling prescriptions. They switched me to a 2-month reorder cycle even though my prescription is for just 1 month of tablets. They tried blaming my doctor, but it was clearly their mistake. When it happened again, they suggested I call them to remind them to reorder - isn't the whole point of a *repeat* prescription to avoid such reminders? This situation is putting my health at risk by either scrambling for my medication or missing doses. I'm considering changing pharmacies.
