LloydsPharmacy in Linlithgow: An Overview

LloydsPharmacy, located conveniently next to a doctor's surgery in Linlithgow, is a familiar spot for residents seeking pharmaceutical services. While the pharmacy offers in-store shopping and in-store pick-up, customer experiences have been mixed, leading to various opinions on the accessibility of its services.

Accessibility and Service Options

The pharmacy features a wheelchair-accessible car park, ensuring that all customers, including those with disabilities, can access their services smoothly. However, feedback from the community suggests that the service options available may not always meet expectations. Long wait times and stock shortages have been reported frequently, leading many to feel frustrated and underserved.

Customer Experiences: A Mixed Bag

While some patrons appreciate the effort and hard work of the staff, as noted in positive remarks about Pam's assistance in resolving prescription issues, many others have reported dissatisfaction. Complaints include long waits for prescriptions and inadequate customer service. One individual described feeling neglected when staff failed to acknowledge an elderly customer's plight while waiting to purchase essential items.

Payment Methods and Modern Solutions

LloydsPharmacy accepts a variety of payment methods, including debit cards and credit cards. Additionally, the pharmacy has embraced modern technology with NFC mobile payments, providing customers with a convenient way to complete transactions. Despite this, the focus should be on improving overall customer service to enhance the in-store experience.

A Commitment to Inclusivity

LloydsPharmacy promotes itself as an LGBTQ+ friendly facility, aiming to create a transgender safe space within the community. This approach underscores the pharmacy's commitment to inclusivity, though the quality of service experienced by customers could further solidify its standing as a supportive environment for all.

Delivery and Convenience

While the pharmacy is strategically located for convenience, instances of delays in fulfilling prescriptions can make it less appealing. Many customers have reported needing to return multiple times to get their medications, which can be particularly challenging for those who are unwell. Furthermore, the delivery options currently available may require enhancements to better serve the community's needs.

Final Thoughts

In summary, LloydsPharmacy in Linlithgow stands out for its location and commitment to inclusivity, but it faces significant challenges regarding service efficiency. The pharmacy could benefit from addressing customer concerns, enhancing staff training, and ensuring consistent product availability. With some improvement, it has the potential to offer a much-needed resource to the Linlithgow community.

John Hughes (15/06/2025, 06:30):
I can only envision that this pharmacy is not inclined to dispense prescriptions as it does not align with their business strategy. The senior staff members appear impolite and exhibit a lack of expertise. Prescriptions are seldom filled without any follow-up with suppliers, as if it were your responsibility for placing the order. It is advisable to steer clear of this establishment if possible.
Terry Watson (14/06/2025, 19:57):
Terrible customer service! I would give it 0 stars if I could. The staff can't even pick up the phone to help customers with questions. The whole pharmacy is a mess, completely unfit for its purpose!
Dennis Morales (14/06/2025, 13:14):
Outstanding service from Pam today, I must say. Upon spotting an issue with the doctor's prescriptions, she promptly took the affected ones back for sorting out at 10am.

When I swung by to collect my prescription at 4pm, Pam discovered that the surgery had mistakenly set aside the amended prescriptions for tomorrow's pick-up. However, she didn't skip a beat and headed back to the surgery to track down my prescription. She swiftly prepared it for me while I patiently waited. Truly grateful for her dedication and exceptional assistance.

This place is an absolute joke! Completely useless, never open when they say they will be. Supposedly open until 6pm during the week but they shut up shop at 5.30. It feels like the only people they care about serving are those on methadone!
Randy Watson (13/06/2025, 04:36):
This pharmacy is not customer-centric at all, their service is painfully slow, and they require at least two visits to obtain a prescription. Overall, a very disappointing experience with their poor service quality.
Angela Hall (10/06/2025, 23:33):
After standing outside for an hour with a baby in the cold, she apologized and informed me that they did not have the medication in stock. I was advised to return the next day or try checking at Boots. This wasn't the first time this had happened, and in the end, I found myself blaming myself for the inconvenience.
Philip Gonzales (07/06/2025, 18:52):
The customer service in this pharmacy is absolutely dreadful, the young lady at the front desk definitely needs to work on her manners.
Billy Turner (05/06/2025, 15:14):
I had to queue outside for a good 15 minutes only to be informed that they weren't accepting any prescriptions that day... A bit of a bother if you ask me. They could have at least put up a sign on the door to save us the trouble. And to make matters worse, I had to go without my medication for the whole weekend. The staff lacked any customer service skills and were rather curt in their interactions. Save yourself the hassle and walk a short 5 minutes down the road to the Boots pharmacy instead. Skip this one altogether.
