Exploring Well Pharmacy in Dunfermline

Well Pharmacy in Dunfermline has been a staple in the community, providing essential pharmacy services. However, recent feedback from customers indicates a growing concern regarding the overall experience at the location.

Crowd Management and Service Options

One of the main criticisms revolves around crowd management. Many customers feel ignored or treated as nuisances rather than valued patrons. The service options available, such as in-store pick-up and delivery, should enhance convenience, but reports suggest inconsistency in service quality. Individuals have complained about long waits for prescriptions and poor communication regarding prescription readiness.

Accessibility Features

Accessibility is crucial for a pharmacy, and Well Pharmacy offers a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park. This feature is vital for vulnerable adults who may require assistance. Unfortunately, even with these provisions, some customers have reported negative experiences, including feeling dismissed during medical crises.

Payment Convenience

In today's society, it's important for pharmacies to offer diverse payment options. Well Pharmacy accepts credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments, making transactions easier. Customers appreciate these options, though there are concerns that the service provided does not match the payment conveniences offered.

Customer Experience and Staff Attitude

The customer experience at Well Pharmacy appears to be mixed. While some reviews praise friendly and helpful staff, others highlight alarming issues with rude service and lack of empathy. The attitude of the employees has been described as abysmal by several patrons, which negatively impacts the pharmacy's reputation. Many feel that the staff could improve their communication skills, especially concerning patients' needs during stressful situations.

Community Engagement and Inclusivity

Being LGBTQ+ friendly is essential for any community-oriented business. While many customers appreciate the inclusivity of the pharmacy, the overall service experience can overshadow this critical aspect. A welcoming environment should reflect in the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while Well Pharmacy in Dunfermline has potential with its accessibility features, payment options, and community presence, significant improvements are needed in customer service and staff attitudes. A focus on excellent service and effective communication could transform the pharmacy into a more reliable resource for its patrons.

Adam Howard (06/07/2025, 20:30):
The new pharmacy is a lazy bloke and makes you wait just 'cause they can and would rather be elsewhere.
Ryan Morales (03/07/2025, 05:59):
Handed in my prescription this morning and was informed it would be ready in 20 minutes. I mentioned that I would swing by at lunch to pick it up. However, upon my arrival, the lady couldn't locate it. After describing the items, she informed the pharmacist, who claimed he hadn't touched anything! Consequently, I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for it. There was no apology for the inconvenience or delay. Overall, not a satisfactory level of service.
Mary Thomas (01/07/2025, 16:36):
The customer service provided was absolutely dreadful.
Gabriel Gonzales (30/06/2025, 20:49):
The Pharmacy Manager is a rude and ignorant woman, she really should not be interacting with the public.
Edward Diaz (28/06/2025, 10:34):
Wonderful customer service, extremely thoughtful and professional
Matthew Young (18/06/2025, 20:24):
They managed to misplace my prescription not just once, but twice.
Amy Lewis (16/06/2025, 04:38):
The chemist was top-notch, I must say. The staff there were ever so polite and accommodating, always ready to lend a hand. Their manners were truly impeccable.
Allison Miller (14/06/2025, 20:43):
I have frequented this pharmacy on many occasions. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Vicki, the pharmacist, has always been exceptionally patient and attentive, listening with a smile. Thank you for the great service.

The staff is just marvelous, I must say.

This morning, I popped into the pharmacy in excruciating pain and urgently needed an antibiotic. The staff there was so kind and helpful, they gave me the medication without requiring a prescription. Outstanding service, highly recommend!
Nicholas Bailey (02/06/2025, 11:59):
I shan't be returnin' to this pharmacy, that's fer sure. I've only given it a 2-star rating 'cause they had the goods I was after, but the customer service was abysmal. The blonde lass at the counter was downright rude and brusque.
Christina Reyes (30/05/2025, 17:58):
Quick service and helpful team
Wayne Nelson (27/05/2025, 07:19):
I must say, the service at this pharmacy is simply shocking. 🙄...
Sharon Allen (24/05/2025, 10:35):
Well, let me tell you, mate, these blokes at the pharmacy, they ain't lookin' out for the people. I lost me prescription and been waitin' 2 weeks now, not a single call, nothin'. It's a disgraceful and disgusting behavior, I tell ya. A prescription can make a huge difference in your whole bloomin' life, and they just don't seem to give a toss.
Ryan Walker (23/05/2025, 12:07):
Once upon a time, this pharmacy was top-notch. But, alas, the standards have taken a nosedive. It now takes as long as a fortnight for the GP-collected prescriptions to be ready, and they don't even bother sending out text alerts when they are. And let's not forget the delightful aroma lingering in the air - a lovely blend of dampness, mold, and sewage. The staff like to blame the flats above, but truth be told, the stench predates the new tenants. A true shame, I must say.
