LloydsPharmacy in Cupar: An Overview

LloydsPharmacy, located in Cupar, offers various services that cater to the needs of the local community. Whether you prefer in-store shopping or delivery, this pharmacy aims to provide a range of service options to fit your lifestyle.

Service Options Available

At LloydsPharmacy, customers can enjoy several payment methods, including debit cards and credit cards. The pharmacy also supports NFC mobile payments for those who prefer contactless transactions. Additionally, patients can choose between in-store pick-up and home delivery for their prescriptions, making it easier to manage medication needs.

A Diverse and Inclusive Environment

LloydsPharmacy strives to be an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space, ensuring all customers feel welcome and respected. However, feedback indicates inconsistency in service levels, with some staff exhibiting less-than-stellar customer service.

Customer Experiences

While many have praised the helpfulness of certain staff members, there are significant concerns about the overall customer service experience. Several reviews highlight issues such as long wait times and inadequate communication. For example, one customer lamented the erratic availability of prescriptions, stating, "sometimes my prescription is there, and sometimes it’s not." This inconsistency can lead to frustration among clients who require regular medication. Moreover, feedback suggests that some staff members may benefit from retraining in customer service skills. Instances of rude behavior and lack of engagement were noted, particularly regarding specific staff interactions. A customer remarked on the need for a more welcoming approach, as some employees reportedly do not greet customers or even acknowledge their presence.

The Importance of Efficient Service

Effective communication appears to be a recurrent issue at LloydsPharmacy. Concerns have been raised about the inability to reach staff via phone, with comments suggesting that the new phone system complicates matters further. To aid in problem resolution, customers are encouraged to sign up for text alerts, notifying them when their prescriptions are ready for pick-up.

Conclusion

While LloydsPharmacy in Cupar provides essential services to the community, the mixed reviews highlight the necessity for improvements in customer service standards. By addressing these concerns and fostering a more respectful and efficient environment, the pharmacy can better serve its diverse clientele, ensuring that everyone receives the care and attention they deserve.

The phone may appear to be malfunctioning due to the implementation of a new system which provides callers with a ringing tone even when staff are engaged in a conversation. I recommend registering for the text messaging service, which will notify you when your prescription is ready. This way, you can avoid the need to make a phone call altogether!

I had a rather unpleasant experience at the pharmacy recently. One of the staff members was quite rude, asking me to take a seat and then turning their back on me without providing my child's prescription. Additionally, they claimed that certain items had been ordered, but I am still waiting for them five weeks later. Quite frustrating, to say the least.
Andrea Alexander (10/06/2025, 20:39):
Very disappointing experience at this pharmacy, the lack of adherence to social distancing measures is concerning. The seating arrangement did not allow for proper distancing, which shows a disregard for public health guidelines. The wait time was also excessive. This chemist in Cupar seems to have a complete lack of consideration for social responsibility. Not a good experience at all!
Ryan Hill (03/06/2025, 21:45):
The staff at this pharmacy is not only friendly but also very helpful. They go above and beyond to assist customers with their needs, making the overall experience pleasant and efficient. It's always a pleasure to visit this establishment.
Lawrence Brown (03/06/2025, 17:18):
I had a dreadful experience at the pharmacy recently. I brought my little dog with me after visiting the vet, only to be told that dogs were not allowed in the shop. I was forced to wait outside in the pouring rain for more than half an hour just to pick up my prescription. The staff's attitude was extremely rude and unhelpful. A very frustrating situation indeed.

I must say, the phone at this pharmacy seems to have a mind of its own and never gets answered! Makes me question if they even have a phone in there at all. And don't even get me started on the store manager, quite rude if you ask me. If it were up to me, I'd give them 0 stars without hesitation.
Julie Ward (30/05/2025, 10:22):
I had a dreadful experience today when I arrived at the pharmacy at 5:25pm to collect my prescription, only to find the door locked. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. I have a job and really need my prescription on time. If your sign indicates closing time is 5:30pm, please do not close up at 5:25pm.
Eugene Coleman (20/05/2025, 03:48):
An older lady pharmacist may benefit from some refresher training in customer service skills. Whenever it's your turn to be assisted, she tends to peer over the top of her glasses without even shifting her head, and there's no initial hello or any form of greeting. This has been my consistent experience every time I visit the pharmacy. I've also observed her treating other customers in a similar manner on numerous occasions. It would be advisable to provide additional training for the staff in customer service.
William Thompson (18/05/2025, 23:43):
What's the point of having a phone number if nobody answers the calls? This place is a complete joke.
Brenda Evans (15/05/2025, 17:06):
I have to say, this pharmacy I recently visited was quite the experience. It took me over 30 minutes to get just two items, and that's even with me being the first one in the shop! I couldn't help but notice others getting served before me. It wasn't until I had to ask for my prescription back that I finally got some attention. And when I expressed my frustration to the pharmacist, all I got was a shrug and an "ok." Definitely not the best customer service experience I've had.
Jeremy Simmons (04/05/2025, 23:53):
I must say, I find it quite baffling that the telephone calls are never answered.
Melissa Rivera (03/05/2025, 04:13):
Fantastic pharmacy, top-notch service, and an exceptional team! Without a doubt, this is my go-to pharmacy.
Jack James (29/04/2025, 14:42):
Seems like they haven't quite figured out the art of answering the phone, steer clear at all costs, rather impolite and indifferent, wouldn't even allow me to give 0 stars if I could.
Willie Ortiz (28/04/2025, 07:42):
The service was incredibly welcoming and helpful, truly the finest pharmacy service in Cupar.
Danielle Rodriguez (27/04/2025, 10:16):
The staff at this local pharmacy are simply amazing! Always ready to lend a hand and provide top-notch service. I highly recommend them for all your pharmacy needs.
Rose Hayes (26/04/2025, 08:32):
I had a rather unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members, who seemed rather lacking in customer service skills. It's important that individuals in customer-facing roles have a positive attitude towards their work and customers. If one does not enjoy their job, perhaps they should seek employment in a different field that does not require interaction with the public.
Mark Fisher (25/04/2025, 05:22):
Frequently find meself without me prescription drugs
Ashley Jordan (18/04/2025, 19:10):
Top-notch pharmacy in Cupar with exceptional customer service.
Despite being quite busy, the staff is incredibly helpful - one lady even went above and beyond to resolve an issue with my GP practice failing to update my address for a whole year, despite me submitting the change online multiple times.
Hats off to the team for their excellent service! 👏
Aaron Richardson (18/04/2025, 09:17):
The staff at this pharmacy are simply marvelous! They are so cordial, efficient, and always ready to lend a hand.
